Ok cool. Although just letting you know what I learned from the web is that it does not work properly in high humid environments. It needs to have humidity below 70%. Hope you are not living close enough to sea.
Hi Zane! Thanks for your comment. It does work in the humid environments as well - the difference may be as much as 9°F (5°C) degrees, in dry and hot ones it may get up to 27°F (15°C).
Does it work in a tropical environment that has relative air umidity of 80%? Or is that too much? Or what is the maximum relative air umidity that still allows the cooling to (reasonably) work?
Did you try it out? What is the average air umidity where you live? I'm really curious to know what is the minimum point where this does / doesn't work.
Hi, I'm living in Asia, Singapore, a place with a high humidity environment, based on your research, will this evapolar work in a tropical country like Singapore?
Hi there! Our devices are most effective in relative humidity not exceeding 70%: the reaction of cooling the air with water evaporation occurs when the air is dry and hot. Therefore, we recommend that our customers from countries with high humidity use Evapolar coolers in tandem with a classic air conditioner: for example, it cools the room to 25-27°C, lowering humidity at the same time, and Evapolar cools the person himself/herself. Best regards, Evapolar
The video ends too soon, no outro no nothing. i also see that you sell cartridges, what are these? does it mean that with time i will need to replace some parts on the unit?
a current air handling unit all has a condenser that connects them to outside in order to create the proper fresh air flow and to release the output heat. But this machine seems to make one side hotter and the other one cooler. And both energy powers will be equal. Plus, the outside power source will make the machine produce more outcome by heating it. This whole evapolar system seems like a short - term solution. Cos, in long term evapolar seems to increase the total heat. Do you have a chart that explains the differences with the traditional acs? cos this video explains not much really.
Awesome but will you be developing something like this for vehicles anytime soon? I have an old classic car and air conditioning units are complex and expensive. I just want to be able to stay cool in my classic car and something like this would be perfect.
Hi Anthony! Thanks a lot for sharing your opinion. We're not planning on developing such devices yet, however, we will definitely take your opinion into account.
Hello Yassenia! Thank you for reaching us! To switch off the device you need to push the screen button for 3 seconds. If it wouldn't help please contact our support team support@evapolar.com.
Hola, me gustaria saber si Evapolar llega a mi pais Chile y si llega a que valor esta ? y como lo podria adquirir? desde ya muchas gracias, desde Concepcion, Chile...Espero una respuesta ojala rapida!!
Hello! We're sorry for the late reply!:) Yes, we can ship to Chile, but please check your import taxes because we don't charge it to customers from Latin America. If you have more questions, please contact our support team at support@evapolar.com
Not a new product. How is this different than other evaporative coolers on the market which come in all shapes and sizes (including personal)? Evaporative cooling only works in dry climates as well. Forget about using this thing on the east coast or southern US.
hi. im electrician, among all others i repair airconditiners refrigerators... thers 2 basic way: old one use compresor and medium that flow trough system in 99% and new peltier module that use raw electric to move heat from one side of element to another. in bouth you have 1 side that become warm or even hot if dont have heatsink with fan and other that become cold. in bout cases warm side become warmer then cold colder, plus fan and electronic produce some more heat to. so you have warm side to place outside of room you want to cool otherwise you can just dehumidify air and you get feeling of colder bcz its not so sultry any more but actualy temperature increase. you can google for more: "how stuf works airconditioner" ore something like that
Hello, Ivan! Please check this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cGsJnuFfPXA.html, our air cooler of course doesn't trick the basic laws of thermodynamics:) Release of energy is represented by condensation later:)
Hello, Ray! Unfortunately We couldn't find order with your name or email. Did you get the device?:) If you face any problem with unit, please contact our support team: support@evapolar.com We'd be glad to help you and answer your questions!
+Martin Ward Hello, Martin! Sorry for the waiting :( Now you can buy it on Indiegogo: you need to choose one perk and make the contribution. All perks are situated on the right side of the page. Next step is filling the form. And you will get your own personal device in June! And we planning to have distributors in different countries, so you can get Evapolar via them later.
Great product concept but get someone who can be understood and a better marketing video... you can't even read what is on the glass window when he holds up the filter.
Hello, Ivan! Thanks for your feedback!:) You know, russians don't smile a lot to be honest:) But you're right of course - smile is often good for marketing.
Standing in an "intellectual" pose, in front of a blackboard with lots of pseudo "complicated diagrams and calculations" doesn't mean you're THAT clever. Your product is junk... just (another) crappy "crowd-funded" toy - go away and design something GOOD.
omfg if you're gonna have the thickest french accent ever at least have someone professionally narrate the video or provide subtitles ... this hurts you more then necessary
