You can take the bottom drivers side cover off and you can see heater core. you then can cut the aluminum tubes and replace heater core and you get some hoses and repair were you cut. it takes about 45 min
And I though replacing the knock sensor and valve gaskets was bad... this is much worse. In Camry model pre 2005 Toyota did not add a cabin filter, maybe this is why the exaportor core was so dirty.
What a nightmare ! this is a horrible design by toyota . I did it on my civic96 and it was a walk in the part I dont think I would dare to try it on a camry. now I know why they charge so much for labor
How long did it take you to do this? How many have you done? What was the labor charge for this? I looked up on Alldata and it said 5.2 hours but taking all this out clearly is more then half that labor time for this. Thanks. I wish I could find a book on replacing all the evaporators procedures for doing every vehicle out there. There has to be one that is out there. Thanks.
good enough, it has all the dealer's technical references they just redecorated them into a software. regarding evaporator replacement procedures, it is referred to Dashboard removal, dig in it you fill find it, once you removed any vehicle dash its a downhill from there
