Eve Echoes DR 4-7 - Imprisoned In Silence Phoenix/Karura Solo - How To 

Nice video. Cool that you fly missile dreads! Just got my Phoenix plan for a Longbow soon.

Actually not sure, I ended up speccing out of dreads before I did more videos that I intended to do. The skills I had at the time of the video my fits were completely different. I just used the same fit that I used on my phoenix with low skills. My karura I was using 1 red hardener, 1 repper, 3 BCUs and 3 cap batts to solo lvl 8

Ayy Pope, nice to see ya here man. The chaos storm spawns periodically. The system notifications of "centrum is gathering energy" means it is charging the "EMP". Then it'll launch the EMP which is the chaos storm. After a bit of time the chaos storm dissappears. So taking out the chaos storm, expecially solo, u are taking damage away from killing the centrum, increasing the time your in the dormant. The longer youre in the dormant, the more rats spawn, the more often it launches the chaos storm the faster you die.once u get past 8m inside the dormant, things get..real spicey REAL fast. You are far better to focus all damage on the centrum whether solo or in a party as u will take less damage in the long run. Torps fire at approx 12-14s intervals and that's alot of damage and time taken away from killing the boss. My karura fit is 3 BCU, 1 repper, 2 batts and 2 red hardeners and I clear a 7 solo in sub 6 minutes. I clear lvl 6 in 4.5 minutes or less. The fit I show here should get someone with lackluster skills (4/4 everything but engineering which I'd reccomend 5/5/3 if possible) in a phoenix through a 7 solo.

Personally never tried it. I was JUST able to solo a 8 in my phoenix with the shown fit but it was dicey and really close. 2 phoenix should be able to do a 9 for sure. I've seen 3 phoenix' do 10s. Best thing I'd say to do is try it. Just work your way up the levels, you should get a feel how well you should handle the next level as you go.

Wanted to come back to this. A little while back we did some testing. Essentially what you are looking for for 4-10 is a combined dps of atleast 75k to pull it off before second Centrum overshield pops. Which is when things get super dicey. We do 10s with 2 karuras and a phoenix in 3:30

Can flatout attest that revelation is not better in DR 4 than a phoenix/karura. I've tested them.
