Just back in the game after an eight year break and I have to say, a lots changed! Those stations are a massive improvement over slumming it in control towers!
Nice informative video, I have tried to use a 7.5B golem, 4B varg and next a pala as it seems to be by far the fastest C4/C5 site runner (Not c5 drifter). Always get a good fight from disaster holdings
golem are rather overkill for C3s, because those can be done in alot of cheaper t1 ships. look up captain benzie here on youtube, because all he do are testing different ships for c3 ratting
Intruders can connect at any time. The part that it mitigates is the statics which is basically indefinitely or 4-5 hours, depending on what source material you trust.
@dgodwin94 is correct, basically the statics stay closed but a wandering hole could spawn at any time, so you have to pay attention to the cosmic signatures and if you see a new one pop up, decycle bastion and get off grid.
its a long train. half a year worth of training just to be able to undock in a golem. then you need 2-3 months to train the weapons skills somewhat properly. on top of that you need quite abit of normal support skills to fly it somewhat properly that gonna take you altleast 3 months, so id say a year are bare minimum. with implants and stuff we easily talking 4-5 bill in total, so its not exactly cheep for beginners either. btw, doesent matter how much you playing every day, because your skill training just keep going same rate regardless if you logged on in the game or not
@@goldeneagle256 This would be true if it wasn't for injectors. If a new player becomes proficient at making isk they can easily afford injectors to cut that training time down significantly.
If you have the wallet for it, a day, people have in the past got into capitals in a day, then asked in local how to jump or dock. A lot have changed since then but the wallet is still an option, for a 'normal' player at least a year, to fully train the skills and supporting skills.
Nice! I've been ratting in a C3 with a vargur to save enough for a C5 fit+drifter refit. but C3 vargur is overkill and i'm running sites in like 5 mins lol. Think i'll go up to C4 like you're doing :D ign: Untha Yazria
@@LzAziraal paladins are okay ish.. But imho, vargur is better. Only thing paladin is good is range and if you use MJD you are golden in vargur... All in all it comes to what you like... Be it nasty slave traders or heroic freedom fighters... P. S. Have I mentioned Vargur shoots massive superheated chunks of metal? What can those puny light shows from paladin compare to that?!
