Finally! I've been waiting for your take on the Mamba and I'm happy it can handle the T2s quite well! I tried your Worm fit on the Mamba at T1s, just with more launchers, but it's too slow to outrun the Sleeper battlecruiser wave.

It's around 150-160m isk last i knew. Almost double the isk/worm but double the ehp with it. I'f i was new to abyss i'd run with the mamba til i could confidently fly the worm or hawk for more isk gain with less losses.
@@Moose00019 Well i done t1/t2 worm abyss when i first started and it was a mistake. I lost to many 100m fits by not knowing the waves and the lower ehp didn't allow me correct my mistakes in time. I think if i started with the mamba i would of lost less overall even though the fit cost more. I would start new with the hawk though, knowing what i know now.
@@Moose00019If you're learning the abyss you should run cheaper fits before going into more expensive stuff. I know for T1 there's a punisher for frigate abyss to learn and you'd probably make more/hr running T1 frig than T2 destroyer (since you can finish T1 frig in 5 - 7 mins). The punisher fit is only like 10m or so. You could do more research on a less expensive ship to learn T2 abyss. But T1 abyss onwards is just about more ships, and learning who to attack first. You'll only be unkillable once you do enough of a respective tier.
@@nateblanche2551 Sure. As for me, Hookbil is the ideal fregat for all weather T0 and T1 Dark. Very cheap - less than 20 mil total. Then goes Worm for all T1. But i wouldn't use it in T2 because of a very high chance to loose 110-120 mil ship. And then is a turn of Hawk to win T2 Dark and T2 Exotic. As for Mamba - i don't thik it worse to use 180 mil ship for 8 mil loot per Abyss. I will not use it for Abyss for sure.
drones alone a dragoon with 4 dda2s puts out more dps than a mamba with 2 dda2s. the whole "hey this faction cruiser can only use 2 drones" meme really should be changed. i'd rather lose 20% of my dps if i lose a drone, not 50%
That's what the spare drones are for. Also caldari navy drones used by Guristas ships are stupidly tanky, for example the CN Vespa has 4k shield with 200 second shield recharge time.
