yeah seems a bit too accidental...^^ but Fulcrum is, in fact, a very old and often used designation, like for example the MiG-29 also bears "Fulcrum" as its NATO designation. And naming a Station or Base literally "Base" or "Stronghold" which is what Fulcrum (latin for support) basically means, is kinda funny. ;)

@@wolfwilkopter2231 Fulcrum is also the point at which a lever applies force. So it's rather fitting when you consider the deathless goals in relation to the empires.

Wym no risk? At any time you can get rolled into by a million people, HxH, Lazerhawks, Synde. Even random WH corps could be rolling into you and then dunking you before can react if you're sleepy. Most people that do the C5s aren't doing crazy setups where they are gonna get out so if you get unlucky you're gonna get tackled by a sabre and die. You are also investing your own Isk and time into the wormhole setup, Fortizars are expensive and then there is fuel, perhaps a refinery in there if you do gas and some people will even anchor medium engineering structures it just depends. Then you are also investing in the caps, most likely a carrier but it's a good idea to probably have at least 1 or 2 dreads sitting there in case you are getting evicted and your corp has to roll into you. I run quite a few characters in my C5 for ratting alone to be safe, but most people don't do this and are pretty easy to catch. For level 4s you legit just pilot to them, do the same objective over and over and make isk and LP. Why does no one actually complain about how stupid NS ratting is? Do you know how impossible it is to catch ratters in NS because of intel chats (but apparently local isn't intel btw)? At 20m per tick x 3 that's 60m per hour, and a bunch of people are botting. At 3 botting ishtars running 22 hours a day that's 3,960,000,000 per day on a ship investment of around 260m isk. Sites in NS basically spawn forever because of how you can upgrade the systems and it's super safe right now. CCP has not addressed these botting issues at all but go into FRAT/PAN/GOON space and count the amount of ships named "X's ishtar" and also see how the second you load into the system they have warped into structure or are landing on structure before you loaded grid. Pochven is even more insane, alliances like NC. have people making legit 100b per 3 weeks by running in their farm fleets and depending on timezone and alliance you get dibs on them so it's super organized. Instead of complaining about the problem with risk and isk in WHs why don't you look at the fact because of scarcity everything got so much more expensive that it pushed LVL4 missions super far down in terms of effective isk/h unless you are running burners? It's so tiring to hear about how WHs are making "so much free isk' when they are investing all this time training toons, isk for their structures, fits, and are most likely in the - a lot of the time and are at risk for eviction, being rolled into and caught, and also are dealing with the logistics of moving blue loot around. It's not this easy operation where isk is deposited directly into your wallet, it's a whole setup and game knowledge being put to work.

Any place you don't have to deal with pvp should fundamentally be less valuable than pvp enabled areas. There's always the risk of a suicide gank of course, but at least there the aggressor is guaranteed to loose their ship. The balance should also take into consideration how difficult it is to achieve the objective. (t1 vs t5 abyssals for instance.) Then you have to take into account how much organization is required to achieve your goals. If the goal requires a large investment in time and resources, balance wise, that objective should be more valuable to be involved in than something a single person can nearly afk solo. That said, I do agree with the op that missions in general should be reworked to be more engaging. Preferably more dynamic, so they're less repetitive. I'm not sure they need to be more valuable then they currently are, but perhaps after the rework, they'd be rebalanced around completing objectives rather then blitzing specific missions for LP payouts.

@@Jeff55369 Agreed, they do need to be more engaging or more interesting. Perhaps adding more storylines would be cool as an end game goal for mission runners after updating the missions? Or perhaps do something with a better pipeline into making LVL5s more accessible to people instead of the meta being focused on running carriers in hostile space? I don't know, there are lot of things they can do but I agree they should be more engaging since so many people run that content!

Yeah, the players. And guess what. Most players are not highsec players, but nullsec players. The nullblocks didnt form from nothing, they are made of the MAJORITY of players. On top of that do you not see how zarzakh works? No connection to drone lands.

If someone is a bad person and egotistical to the point of Corp failure, again, no one will even acknowledge them because they are assholes.

Your a joke, if they turned on the jove gates you would find a way to complain about that as well. The game is better than it has been over its 20 yard life, with more content, mechanics, and space than ever before.
