Hey Man, thanks for stopping by to comment. It was a really fun fight, and I am glad you guys came out and engaged. I don’t in any way mind the various commentators pointing out where I made mistakes, they are right, I made a ton! That said I had a lot of fun, had a chance to learn some stuff, and I hope your guys had fun too. I love these chaotic swirling brawls, so hopefully I will see you in another one at some point in the future.

Hey Toshio, I know that this is an old video but are you still around in GS?

I know this is an old vid, but just curios. You say he 'wasted' cap, ammo, heat..But what should you do in this situation otherwise? Esp when the goal was to get a fight in the first place? I guess if for some reason you were tackled in a dread and didnt want to be then I can see what you mean by wasting cap on combat mods, but is it still considered a waste to use those mods when you're trying to get a gang to fight you for a pvp video?

@@KrossFire330 Takes hundreds of the goon gang to come close to equalling the ISK worth of the dread, so almost ANY resources he spends fighting them are worth drawing out, 'cause they're then not spent on the "real" fight.

@@LaskerEmanuelEVE Forgive the noob question but why dident u repair the cap recharger after it broke due to heat??? Pretty sure i saw alot of paste in your inventory at 1 point. Was it used up on another module i missed?

ps. there is no such thing as an over sized propmod on a capital sized hull. 100mn ab/500mn mwd on a cruiser is over sized as you need to add PG to the ship to fit it.

When you're under pressure, it's really easy to forget #1 that you've heated, and #2 that the thing cycles. ^^

Really glad you enjoyed! I started out flying frigates in FW space, it's great training for every kind of solo PvP.

Electronic or chilled out music that is easier on the ears is much better to listen to while watching a gaming video like this, and with a game like EVE that sort of chill music fits the aesthetic of the game much better than hard rock or heavy metal thrashing into the speakers. It's great to discover cool new music too through RU-vid videos. Chillstep, trance, lo-fi hip hop, etc. I can look up the artist after watching the video and find some cool new artists to support and have playing on my computer.

Thank's man, I love these kind of 1 v Many fights, and I am very glad you enjoyed. Mostly if you want to fight a HAW Dread with subcaps you have to accept some losses, and the Goons were ISK positive when they brought me down. I would have killed more for sure if I had managed my heat better. Yeah for sure! I also happened across your Naglafar video. That one I really liked also. I never thought about soloing with a dread till I watched your videos. It seems the Nag was much better at the job than the Moros. If I remember the tracking on that specific nag fit was a shy bit worse than the Moros but you were insta popping things in the nag. Dps was applied well. I have a question I figured I mine as well ask here as I've been researching it the past week for non game realted reseaons but related to video production. What software(s) do you use for editing and producing videos? If you don't mind me asking. Thanks again!

I like the nag more, but I think mostly because the awesome falloff on the ACs means that you don't have to do a ton of ammo switching as stuff is at different ranges. I have also had better fights in the Nag, but I think that's just luck. I have been using OBS to record, and DaVinci Resolve for editing (both free, both easy to use). Very glad you enjoyed the videos and I am always happy to answer questions.

So I've only recently come over your channel.l I've been gone for almost a year. Maybe more. Maybe a year and a half. But I've kept my chars training and log in once a week or month to manually train skills cause I prefer it to setting a year's worth and leaving it. I've been coming back this past few weeks tho. Mostly just login in more but I'ma get there, MY POINT tho, lol, as, I digress. Anyway, So I watch your Phoenix video. 30 Subs vs 30 Caps and fell in love. I've always hated missiles, mostly due to "hate form ignorance", as even though I've played on and off, over a decade, I've never trained into missile till now. So the nag was my favorite based on your fight, but now, even though the caps got there on you, I was able to see the damage projection. It was immediate and unforgiving. So my QUESTION(S) to you is this. If I wanted to do what you do or get in a dread at all but mostly for solo PVP in what skills apart from the norm would you suggest? Obviously, all to 5 is optimal but I guess my question is what is the bare minimum? I have to think about capital repping, capital turrets or missiles, capita energy skills, and capital skills in spaceship command. 1.) Is level 4 in all of these with T2 siege sufficient enough to do "Selective" solo dread PVP Or do I need: 2.) LVL5 Cap Turrets/Missiles - LVL5 Cap Rep Armor/Shield - Navigation Skills? - Capital Ships 4/5? - Dreads 4/5? - etc,. etc? I don't know your skills points but when I came back I had to start over and create a new main and pump him full of a LOT of money in injectors. Still not ready for where I want him and he already takes my wallet clean. Now you've really got me wanting to train for a dread not just for solo, even tho I am a solo pilot but for fleet also. I've always preferred solo or small gang. Never cared for large fights. Anyway, this is long enough already. Tell me what youe thoughts are. Thanks and sorry fror the novel I have written, lol.

No worries man, I can tell you are pumped :) Most of my dreads I consider "Ready" to go when I have T2 siege and guns and fours in most of the relevant skills. The Phoenix is amazing for sure, although honestly I enjoy all the dreads, they all have something fun about them.

just sucks that none of this is possible anymore, you dont see this kind of solo pvp cause everyone roams 50 deep with dreadnaught carrier group on standby 24/7

I did the corvette grind in elite dangerous which probably added 200 hours before i had it fully engineered and A rated. I can grind in Eve hopefully

I don't believe so, the siege module gives some very significant eWar resist bonuses.

Lasker Emanuel fair enough. It's still hilarious seeing people trying to use sensor damps when none of them could out range you even at 25% range

Honestly the biggest counter is just range. Fighting a Ferox fleet that is sitting 60km off with a couple of Lachasis and Rapiers with good Logi is MISERABLE.

That's actually on the list, none of my cap alts have missile skills, so I am training JDC, tactical weapon reconfig, etc. on my main. As soon as I can fly one I will be out looking for fights. I am also working on a Marauder series for a bit of variety. I also some day have a dream of maybe doing some of the pirate dreads, all will likely be impossible (I doubt I will be able to get my hands on a Chemosh, but we will see.

If it was you, thank you for the GF sir, and I think you won the ISK war, so really this is your victory that I just so happend to enjoy as well.

Wanted to do a bit of a tribute.

Often it's not that interesting, sometimes something funny gets said. One of my videos has the red comms on it, if you want a peek on the other side of the curtain.

I don't know who is the best, his were just the videos I watched first and said "Wow!" Lussy Lou is also amazing at this type of gameplay, and honestly many others as well.

Cap mods require thousands of nanite paste, which I did not have. Also, you can only repair if you have not burned the module out.

Makes a big difference too, it's very noticeable.

Honestly if I could "lose" with a fight this fun every week I would happily do it.

All of my Dread videos are speed up, most viewers want a certain amount of action and are willing to watch for a period of time, but not indefinitely. Some of them are speed up 25%, some are speed up more. Honestly if people wanted normal speed videos that would be awesome, would save me a step.

On finishing law school and entering the professional world, he elected to delete his videos and take down his youtube channel. I am sad his content is gone, he made great videos.

Yeah because nowadays everyone has enough capitals so that this doesn't work anymore, you will just get blobbed by hics to hold you down until a fleet of 50 to 60 dreads drop on you, the null players are so starved for content they will drop on a small cruiser gang with capitals and blops

I always have my passive mods shown and all mods grouped together dunno why I just find it easier for me but I'm no OCD in anyway so I can have a "cluttered" overview and mod without it effecting me.

Having them showing can at least convey information about heat damage, and at least in my setup I don't intend to use that screen real estate for anything else.

I used to hide my passives, but occasionally got paranoid that I for some reason forgot to (re)fit them. Now I just keep them out of sight by the rightmost side of the "grid".
