Thanks for the video. Very helpful - looks like I've got the same radiators as you too so it couldn't have been more useful. Thanks.

I've just bought a couple of these to try them out. I can't get it to fit my thermostat valve which is Siemens. None of the adaptors help. The problem is the existing valve pin is too long. In some of the other installation videos on RU-vid, the thermostat valve looks exactly the same as mine but with a shorter pin. Not sure how to proceed. Sent photos to Eve but no response (yet).

Thanks for this video. Are you happy with it? I’m thinking of installing them in my house in each room so the temperature can be controlled via HomeKit automation.

Kris.P.Bacon Hi, Yeah I’m pretty happy with it... I find that it works best with HomeKit - I have the upstairs Thermos grouped together to come on at a set time, and go off in the morning (something that the Eve App couldn’t do, but HomeKit can)... it works well. The only thing I don’t like is that they seem to keep heating past the temperature I’ve set (As a test, I set it to 16deg, and it kept heating until I turned it off at 20deg). However, you can monitor the temperature via HomeKit/Eve App, so you can just turn it off manually if you wish. Overall, I’m happy...I think they are worth it for the HomeKit benefits, and it’s great to be able to actually monitor the temperature of a room.

Thanks for the reply , Can I use Apple TV to control about 9 of those ? Or is it better to buy a thermostat with a hub ?

To be honest, I'm not too sure - I use Apple TV to control 2 of them and it works pretty well. My Apple TV is downstairs and the valves are upstairs. 9 of them sounds like they might be far away from the Apple TV though - I'm not sure if you'll get the range or not.

no hub needed ?

No hub needed, but note that it's not WiFi - it uses Bluetooth to connect to the app when you're changing settings in the home. However, it is Apple Homekit compatible - and that's the route I wen't down. I use an Apple TV as a hub so that I can turn it on/off from outside the home.
