Have You Seen My Sister, Evelyn? Performed by conjoined twin sisters Evelyn & Evelyn Neville at Oberon Theater in Cambridge, MA Presented by The Great Sxiphisto.
I don't know if it's just Amanda's acting, but it seems like she is acting really emotional and over-exaggerated because this is based on her nightmare.
@@robylopezvi I think in the tragic events of September part 3, Lyn has a nightmare that the city is empty, everything is quiet and her sister isn't there.
I am too impressed. I'm amazed how Amanda and Jason managed to remember all of their songs, all of the lyrics in the songs, play at the same tempo, and manage to do it all in such a way that they please crowds. All while having to pretend to be conjoined twins. Wow. I'm in Shock and Awe.
I would imagine it's just like playing two separate instruments in a band - you just need a really really good sense of timing/coordination, and better be damn well rehearsed :)
@@stxrrynxght319 i think youd just have to ignore the other person and do your own thing on your half of the piano, the hard part looks like that ending where they run their hands across the keyboard
such amazing skills! that switch...one of the best conceptual bands I have ever seen.wish I could see you guys live, but I'm in Britain, so I doubt that will happen soon.
These kids did such a good job with the whole project from start to finish. So satisfying and refreshing to see/hear such smart, clever, creative and well done performance art. Hope more is forthcoming.
Who came here 9 years late? Yeah me too, I just looked up “singing twins” and this one came up. Now I’m obsessed with their music, it’s very good. I just have a question on how they can perform like that, only with one hand each.
[Pre-Chorus] Have you seen my sister Evelyn? Dang she's gone and wandered off again I've been looking high and low Where oh where'd my sister go? [Chorus] She's been known to spend some time With a sailor friend of mine I called him up and what'd he say? "I ain't seen that girl today." So if you see my sister Evelyn Tell that girl to hurry home again Where oh where'd my sister Evelyn go? [Verse 1] Is she with the doctor or the plumber Or the dentist or the handyman? Did she go to India or Africa Or Wichita or Pakistan? Did she go join the Navy, or go completely crazy Or is she playing a trick on me? Did she run off with the barber, the professor Or the banker, or the clergyman? Is it possible that she could be in Timbuktu Or Katmandu or Vegas or Uzbekistan? She learning how to do-do The Chattanooga Choo Choo? Oh golly where could that girl be? [Pre-Chorus] Have you seen my sister Evelyn? Dang she's gone and wandered off again I've been looking high and low Where oh where'd my sister go? [Chorus] She's been known to jump a train With a gal we know from down the lane I looked her up and wha'd she say? "I ain't seen that girl in days." So if you see my sister Evelyn Tell that girl to hurry home again Where oh where'd my sister Evelyn go? [Verse 2] Is my floozy sister with the doctor Or the drummer Or the dentist or the handyman? Did that ho-bag quit her job and run off With that dick-head Mike To Indio, Guantanamo Or Panama or Disneyland? Is she studying Kabbalah? Did she win a million dollars? Or is she dead in a ditch somewhere? [Chorus] So if you see my sister Evelyn Tell that girl to hurry home again [Outro] Where oh where Where oh where Where oh where Where oh where Where oh where'd my sister Evelyn go?

If you listen to 'The Tragic Events of September' you'll see that Amandalyn has a nightmare where she's in an old and creepy town, and when she looks to her side her sister, Jasonlyn, isn't there. This song is based off her nightmare, but it's in a more cheerful form. Long story short, It's just part of the character.
Well, they're pretty young in this video and this was posted in 2015, also they aren't actual conjoined twins, so probably unless this was recorded years before it was posted or there was some accident
If you go and listen their "story" called "The Tragic events of September" you'll see that in one part the one of them tell to the other that she had a nightmare where she was in a (supposedly) abandoned and creepy town and her sister wasn't anywhere near her. The song is based on tht "nightmare" from the story and not in a real even where the one "lost" the other because the other went away
