PD exactly everything I was going to say. I saw that profile picture and decided I wouldn’t waste my breath on someone who has the audacity to say “ignorance is bliss” and then out the same mouth make the drastic generalization that all celebs must be perfect people and have no issues. Dacre spends so many hours on the way he looks, speaks and acts. You know what makes him so special? He knows how it is to be the total north pole of what he is today. He is attractive but I think what is so beautiful about him is how far he has come. I really look up to him far more beyond the fact that yeah, he indeed is attractive. Because I'm the same kid as he once was before. I'm lost and no guys ever approached me. And one day, with a lot of work, I will get there too hopefully. Thank you Dacre. Please never doubt yourself. They do the same to women too but I mean I think there's a kind of ironic twist in the new age where they think reversing their rules is ok because it's believed society objectify men much less than women so it's meant to ironic and there's also the idea men love it while women feel upset about it. I think men that feel objectified should team up with women who feel objectified so the world knows how they feel , if women feel they are on their side and feel the same way their less likely to try to pull gotchas .

@Jesus Cervantes meh idk I think there's a matter of context , if a beautiful women was saying she was insecure how she looks while she was beautiful I think a lot of people would think it was sweet and a nice message about how we are all insecure. Then again I think there's a stereotype as well about how society objectifies women as a norm it needs to be balanced out and as a lot of men don't voice out that they dislike being objectified whereas so many women there's an idea that "men love to be objectified and women don't" which is kind of subconsciously programed into peoples minds of course women do exclaim feeling reduced to aesthetic objects and women have a history of being reduced to and limited to aesthetic objects but men don't voice out at all about feeling objectified . I think it's not unlike the idea it's a compliment to call a man manly and not call a women manly , it's to do with sexual norms and gender roles programed into our thinking as well as response to issues regarded as gender specific. I think actual academic feminists would understand this issue especially Post-modernists that think non-essentialism is part of human identity and that male and female issues dependent on the person not just their gender roles.

@outsideliesmagic Well there is legit info on yt even but a lot of the actual academic literature of postmodernism , feminism, post-structuralism etc is highly misrepresented and condensed on youtube people like Jordan Peterson for example bring a lot of misrepresentation to the table because he lectures on things he doesn't even study , there are plenty of academics arguing positives and negatives tho about these things but academic criticism of these things it's never as controversial and dramatic as it's made to sound on youtube , prob political basis and such and because of that yt doesn't want it to bring in controversy . You can still find professors and students who specialise in the topics on yt tho .
