I passed Friday with 5 minors, managed to stall at the last roundabout back to the test centre because I was in such a rush but luckily fixed it and pulled off safely.
Wow Pin, mega harsh! That road you asked him to do the manoeuvre on was quite busy... fair enough, but a bit mean considering it's normally sleepy residential side streets! Still, Ryan's a great driver, he'll pass no probs.
I watched your videos for the last year during the pandemic and attended driving lessons once lockdown was lifted. I applied for my test and passed yesterday With 0 faults !! Thank you so much for helping me during the pandemic, you are an amazing instructor.
Just passed my drivings test yesterday, and I did it on my second try. I just want to say to everyone struggling with pressure or anxiety towards the examn. ITS GONNA BE OK! I was horrible at driving first i had 60+ lessons but I still made it. And I know YOU can do it to! Good luck to everyone who has an exam comming up🙏🏻
I passed my test with zero minor mistakes 2 days ago on Friday. It was at Hither Green in London. Thank you so much to Pin for the brilliant content. Good luck to everybody that has a test coming up!! You’ll ace it!!
This just fucking happened to me today and it's honestly the worst, most heartbreaking feeling. I have quite literally never felt worse about anything in my life. I was doing the test perfect but fucked up and missed a school zone within 2 minutes of returning to the test center.. I literally don't even want to do the test again.
@@andiyousif1760 lol. Not true at all. Most people fail their test due to nervousness even though they know how to drive, the test can be very stressful. Just because someone fails the test definitely doesn’t mean they’re a bad driver
This is normal. I failed 3 times and but in the end I passed. I just nervousness that we suffer while giving drive test which lead to these mistakes. You will be fine next time and you will pass. I am 100% pure. Stay positive
Just passed this afternoon (first time!) after watching DGN pretty religiously for the last 8-9 months, and having bought the UDC last week as a final recap. Thank you for all the content and advice!
I managed to pass my driving test on Wednesday and these videos of the mock tests really helped me progress whilst learning. Thanks for the help and support.
That look of disappointment says it all Pin 🙈😆 Ryan really shows great potential of being a good driver, such a shame about the last manoeuvre. That can easily be rectified 😊
Hey Pin... I passed my driving test last week in first attempt with just a couple of minors... I just wanted to thank you very much as your mock test videos have really helped me in preparation... really appreciate your explanation and tips for correcting errors... keep up the great work... god bless!! (I usually watch all the videos without signing in, but today just to express my gratitude I first time logged in on RU-vid!!)
Edit: I passed with 1 minor! My driving test is in 2 days, wish me luck guys! 🚗 The pressure is on because there are no test dates left and I won't be able to book another one as the next 6 months is completely booked up😭 I'm taking it in Enfield Innova Park, if anyone's done it there I'd love to hear some advice!
If someone run out in to the road, you wouldn't stop gently would you! I would brake as hard as i could, vehicles behind should not be travelling so close as not to be able to stop.
Passed my driving test today with only 1 minor fault in wolverhampton! Thanks for the vids Pin! They've been helping me top up my knowledge and it really helped me today!
Thanks for your videos. I binge watched yesterday & drove for 5 hours! Today I passed! The test was nerve racking I stalled the car a few times early on when asked to park on the right & reverse two cars lengths! While reversing I went over the curb! Stalled the car & panicked. After a few minutes I managed to park correctly. And then moved off safely I thought that was a fail for sure and my heart sunk. But I kept calm & carried on, forcing myself to stay calm & focused. Fortunately as I didn’t cause any danger to others, it was considered a minor fault Then I drove safely for another 30 minutes with a few minor faults I couldn’t believe it when the examiner said:”I’m pleased to say you have passed” 😻😻🎉🎉😊😊
I passed my driving test today with just 2 minors. Thanks to Pin veera for helping with these videos. I watched every fail video of last one year during lockdown. I might have seen more than 50 on this channel. It wouldn't have been possible to pass without watching these videos. I wish I had subscribed to Ultimate Driving Course last year before I started learning with my instructor, I would have saved 100s of pounds on instructor fees. Thanks for such a great selfless service.
Could tell my guy was very very nervous for this, put having this practice test will do a world of good for you, in terms of prep for the real one. Best of luck buddy!
I've got my test this Friday, if i don't pass I'll need to resit my theory as it's expiring next month so whoever reads this please pray for me, (I'll update if I pass or fail)🤞🏼
I was also worried about my theory expiring next month, but I’m glad to say that I’ve passed my test today and so will you! Remain calm and do good observations :) Best of luck 👍🏻
Passed first time yesterday 🤩 to anyone who struggling and feels like they’ll never pass right now… be patient and keep on going because at some point the driver in you just clicks and everything falls into place🥳
As a learner here in the Philippines, I may be messing up my knowledge by watching drivers on the other side of the road opposite to ours. But the takeaways and lessons from these vids are so good that I’ll still keep watching them.
Got my test tomorrow morning, I’ve been watching these videos for months and they’ve helped me massively thank you for producing this good content for new drivers. Fingers crossed!!👍🏼
You know what I just noticed 😏👀😂😂😂😂, every time the learner makes a mistake or a serious 🤔 one pins can't help but rub his head like 🤦 this that's a give away you just went wrong 🤣🤣🤣😭
Passed my test this morning first time !! Very surprised and happy after having very bad nerves throughout my 2 year driving experience but these videos have been so helpful thankyou ☺️
as a manual driver myself, i have to ask; do you ever touch on situations like 6:40 in terms of not wearing the clutch excessively? it's much easier and safer to have the car in gear, clutch in, and on the brake until you see a decent gap to turn through. it's also a good skill to have for hillstarts. cheers!
I think because it was slightly uphill he found the bottom of the bite just to prevent the car from rolling back and ready to move off, although I agree he should've just used the brake and waited
If the traffic is dense, i put it on neutral and wait with the brakes on, and then when there is an opportunity i put the gear and go on... I'm from Argentina, driving for like 4-5 years now a Renault Duster, i don't like to keep my clutch pressed so much time xD
5:26 what is the purpose of checking the mirrors when I build up speed on a dual carriageway? Could you explain please? If you are not changin lanes etc nor overtaking anybody than what is the purpose?
Got mine tomorrow as its early hours Tuesday morning now and I have mine on Wednesday. Up still watching these videos to get the knowledge in for my last lesson at 10.30 today. I'm hoping I pass but I don't know I make the silliest mistakes and I don't know why. It's my head that over processes things which leads to daft mistakes. Hope I pass. It means the world to me.
Emergency stop is one of 2 maneuvers the examiner asks!! I was taken by surprise when this happened. This Ryan is cute looking at the examiner like a helpless puppy.🐶🤣🤣🤣
thanks all you video , I am experience driver ,was teaching my son to drive ,but I didn't know what examiners will look in driving test ,but looking your mock test I watched may be 60 , give me all information what examiners will be looking in test . today my son he is only 17 years pass driving test with 1 minor faulty 1st time in test.with your video and knowledge and my driving has improved as well .keep it up
Its exactly happened with me during my test.i was just 2 minutes away to finish my test.and 1 serious fault happend.now I am waiting for my next exam.its really painful.😭😭
DGN is the real deal. They helped me pass my test, i failed 4 bloody tries before I got a pass so don't give up on it people it will happen as long as you make yourself want to be a better driver, the sky is the limit!
@@randomdude5102 I’d taken a wrong turn at the start which meant the route was longer, which makes it even worse because I’d done 40 minutes of perfect driving before it.
I had the same fault of putting the clutch down whilst braking didn’t realise you’re meant to put it down when you’re about 3 car lengths away from your stopping point
Really is down to luck on the day. I was in quite a small town when I did my test yesterday and there were cars on my side of the road so I gave way to oncoming cars as you do. This was before a junction though and (literally impossible to anticipate) a massive massive lorry came round the corner and when it stopped the assessor said I was the one that caused it to stop so she failed me. I may not have described the situation well but it truly was just a very unfortunate thing and I was perfectly ready for my test with it having been postponed multiple times. Now I’ve got to wait over 3 months for another one :(. Ruined all my plans for summer
Don’t do a mock test iinstrutors think they can conduct a test but they haven’t had the training and do things examiners would not. For example they would not pull you up that distance from a vehicle you were going to parallel park with. Also they say lots of things are faults that would not actually be marked.
Just finished watching all the modules on the dgn driving course so back binge watching these vids my test is in 3 days my second time trying I'm hoping I get it this time with a lil help from dgn 🤞🤞🤞
I didn’t fail, but I had zero minors until the last turn to the test centre. I was so upset with myself, I wanted a perfect score! Happy I passed though.
@@johnp.5134 easy mistake to make. Mine was when I was asked when safe to do so pull up on the side of the road, but there was an island parallel to where I was about to stop, but I panicked and thought I shouldn’t stop there, so I kept moving and parked further up. Turns out I was doing the right thing!😂🤦♀️
I think Pin is a good examiner as well as a good instructor. I have seen many his videos about mock tests and he marks reasonably, not too harsh or too kind, just enough to justify. Driving examiners & instructors should watch his videos to exam properly during a real test. 👍
I failed yesterday 1 minute before the end of the test for not giving enough space for a vehicle to pass. I literally waited for my test for 3 months now i have to wait again for that long.
So you don’t do head checks before changing lanes in the UK? My driving instructor is insane with head checks. Before we move lanes we get yelled at if we don’t do them
26:20: Sadly the 'flash of the full beams' to 'give way' to another driver has pretty much overriden the use of it to 'warn others of your presence' as I just see drivers using it to 'give way' all the time. It is nothing you can change if that is something which the drivers are used to doing.
18:10 Haven't driven in the UK. But in the feedback he said he did not follow the lane discipline on the last roundabout, I think he was right. He was driving in the second inner lane, and he took the left lane when exiting. Judging on the markings, I believe it would have been a serious fault, as vehicles traveling in the left lane would have been cut off.
I'm no expert but this isnt a serious fault if it is safe to do so. I dont think anyone was following behind him and he checked his mirros before moving over. So no serious fault?
@@TypicalJinx You get a point there. But I really want to know whether it's allowed (or even perhaps supposed ) to use the left lane from the inner lane in the UK
If you check the highway code it shows a vehicle using the inner lane may exit in either lane if it is safe to do so. On a driving test you really want to get into the left lane as soon as you can so that nobody undertakes you on the left causing you to fail the test.
So difficult haha ..why so strict...after that people will never drive like that again...i got my license in mexico i just needed to park to car that was it.
Have manual transmissions changed that much? I drove nothing but manuals my whole life until about the late 90's. If you played that "holding it at the Bite Point" you'd burn the clutch plate out before the warranty expired! I saw 1 student hold the car ON A HILL using the clutch. We had to learn to just the brake and gas and clutch properly because there were no hand brakes, the emergency / parking brake was on the floor, and the release was under the dash. I did start to drive trucks with hand brakes, but not as they are used today. I know I'm old as dirt and things have gotten better, but can newer cars clutches handle holding the car with just applying more accelerator? THANKS to any of you who answer.
Great explanation! Didn't he commit another 'serious driving fault' by not stoping as the vehicle behind started moving from behind? Think we can hear the BMW revving just after 21:00 and could see it moving from right mirror immediately after. Since he did not apply brake and come to a full stop would that count as a major fault? Thanks a lot. These vedios are as good as gold.
can someone pls explain how the driver should have dealt with the bmw behind him? should he just drive straight ahead or park somewhere else so just not to slow down or obstruct the bmw?
