Props to the young lass letting you film her attempt, you two have a potential to help many of us, fellow learners gaining valuable insight & experience :)
Today i passed my driving test first time, with no minors or majors at all. This channel helped me alot, also tips for your test day. Wake up early, take a shower, chill and eat a light breakfast, just don’t be nervous and you’ll pass without any difficulty. Good luck for everyone 👍❤️
@@monamina20 focus on taking deep slow breathes it will help. Also don’t think about it too much. Just think you’re going on a trip and you’re the driver
I smiled at the suppressed excitement in your face when you spotted and passed the Countach! 😁 I live in Italy but never saw a Countach in person... It must be a spectacular car!
A week on after passing my test and I still refer to the excellent tutorials on the rest of your channel whenever I have a question. Thanks a million for all your help in passing and the hard work that goes in to the tutorials.
Well, I've got my driving test tomorrow and I'm working through your playlists! I've been watching your videos for a while now and it has really helped supplement my lessons. I've been learning for 10 years, have lapsed several times due to surgeries and I have massive driving anxiety. I finally found an instructor that has a teaching style that compliments my learning style (especially with me being dyslexic). I'm a nervous wreck at the moment, I'm hoping this will finally be the end of formal learning and I can get my car out of storage and back on the road. Thanks, Richard for everything you do!
Im happy to say my test is tomorrow lol, after waiting all these years and spamming all of your videos, im a so excited and never been confident this much before a test. Thank your for your videos and wish me luck!
Overall and excellent drive there. I'm assuming she's one of your pupils? If so, must be very rewarding to see your customer driving to this standard knowing you taught them their methods. I'm sure she'll be getting a shiny blue cirtificate in no time at all. All the best to you both.
@@ConquerDriving well she clearly made the right choice moving to you! Top work from you both. I'd be interested to see a few more lesson videos if you had a willing client, just to get an idea of how you teach day to day.
I would have loved to have u as my instructor, you’re so calm and friendly and you would have put me at so much more ease than the overly strict, gruff instructor I had! 😂
Mock tests are always hard when you don't know what to expect. My instructor failed me on mine but after 2 more hrs of lessons told me to book my test and I passed with 3 minors. Heavy breaking, stalling right at the end of the test and appropriate speed driving too slow with people behind me.
your videos are really helpful for me to increase my confidence , I have booked my test on 21st July 2022 and have got around 28 lessons so far so lets see. thanks Richard
I passed over tenyears ago but am doing refreshers soon after a few years off the road so these are helpful and interesting. You seem like a very patient dude who explains things well!
UK driving tests are insane. I got my driver's license last year and I'm not sure I'd would have passed, if my country had such strict driving tests. I only drove around for like 15 minutes, the examiner was just talking to me like one would to a friend and sometimes told me where to go or park. I'm glad I don't have to do UK tests omg.
Stricter tests = safer roads. Statistically, the UK's roads are among the safest on the planet. To be honest I still think it's too lax in one aspect - older people should be forced to retake their tests.
I turn 17 in a month so I think it's time I binge watch your videos! Would love to see more of these. Now, if only the DVLA would send me my provisional.... I got the bit of paper saying it should turn up in 2 weeks, back in November :/ Edit: ABSOLUTELY in favour of an auto pass if you spot anything as rare as a Countach, Very cool spot!
Gosia did really well in this, im going to take her approach more and slow things down, she was so calm and confident, she will be (if not already) a very good driver ✨️ thank you again richard for the video, my test is very soon, manifesting a pass 🤞
If you are watching this video trust me when I say this: this guy can save you a lot of money that you will have paid to driving instructors. It is ironic he is a driving instructor, and earns his living from that, but watch his videos. Trust me he teaches a lot here that if you take him serious you will save a lot of money on driving instructors, I got my provisional license on 23rd October 2021 and started watching his videos and practiced what he taught with my qualified family and friends sat by my side. On 20th November I passed the theory test and decided to take up a cancelled practical test slot on 4th December as a "trial attempt". I passed first time. He teaches so well, I used his videos to correct my family members who thought I was doing the wrong thing, he is that good. And his patience and explanations are perfect. I watched all his videos, maneuvers, hill starts, how not to stall, the parking techniques, junctions, his trick on knowing if your will fit into the gap helped me overcome an anxiety going through narrow places. I took zero lessons from driving instructors, zero pounds paid to anyone for lessons, just bought replacement fuel for my family and friends.
Thank you for all your videos. I have watched many of them and loved the way you explained things. Today I passed my test and found your videos really helpful! Appreciate the uploads you do thank you )))
I really wish I could have you as my driving instructor, I've been watching a lot of your videos and you seem like an excellent instructor and I have learned so much from your videos that my current instructor did not teach me. Unfortunately taking lessons with you would not be practical as I live in Northern Ireland.
Brilliant video, i just passed my hgv test so i guess why this came on my feed. Brilliant to see it from an examiners point of view. Thanks for the upload.
If you see a Lamborghini Countach and you check your mirrors as it passes to admire it, it is an immediate pass and the examiner is obliged to drive you back to the testing centre where you will be issued a driver's license right then and there. If that's too much to ask, then at least any faults you got in the test will be removed and you get to continue the test with a clean record.
Loved this video !! I wish I could drive in a place like this . You have no idea what is like to drive at rush hour in a busy day in Australia 🇦🇺 so hard for new drivers :(
I guess this is why they have the 3 tier licencing system right? You have the learner permit, provisional (which is obtained after one passing their test right, are you are restricted to certain speeds and vehicles?), and finally the full unrestricted licence. Driving in Australia looks pretty stressful can't lie. I'm British and have been driving for 3 years, no doubt I'd find the roads in Australia daunting.
As always brilliant video , I think she will pass the driving test with no problems. The only thing I disagree is the failing for inappropriate speed. Lets remember that the speed limit is just a limit and not a target. Is a lot to ask from a learner to go fast in this type of road and weather conditions. This is just my opinion and at the end of the day you are the expert. Hope I see more Mock tests on your channel.
I find it surprising that you could fail the driving test in the UK for driving too slow even when there's no official minimum speed sign. Great video as usual! I think it would be more interesting for the viewer to not have the information in the title nor description about if she's going to pass or not.
So glad I live in the US for taking my driving test lol these UK roads look so confusing. Great video as always though and props to your student for the great driving.
Thanks very much for all the videos and tips! I love to learn everything there is when it comes to things like driving and thanks to Gosia for letting the test be filmed
Usually when going straight through a roundabout, the inner lane is for either taking the third exit only. This is what it says in Advanced Driving School, Get Driving, & Driving TV videos.
@@evanopedal it’s better to use the second lane as it sets up the position for the car turning right at the next roundabout. It saves her having to switch lanes in between roundabouts.
Just passed the test and got my license a few weeks back and I'm still watching pretty much everything you upload😁 Would you pls consider doing a video on tight uphill turns... Thanks in advance... ❤️
man, screw the driving test, when you see a Countach on the road, you check all the mirrors and blind spots to be sure you’ve spotted the car well enough!
Totally don’t worry about the examiner pressing on the tablet! I passed my test 2 days ago with only 3 minors and I saw the examiner press the tablet so many times hahah
These videos make me wonder how else are British driving rules different from the ones on the Continent. I live in Czech Republic and the way how signaling works on roundabouts makes my head spin a little. We don't signal unless we want to leave the roundabout. The whole right and then left signaling seems a little bit complicated from this perspective. Also didn't realize that right lane is in Britain used for overtaking but that is logical given the opposite position of a driver. If I ever happen to be in UK for longer period of time I would probably take some driving school lessons even if I am driving license holder to get used to the local rules and left side.
11:43 lol sadly i think most of the examiners wouldn't approve of a car spot. I am still to young to take my test but my biggest wonder has always been whether or not you could fail a test from pointing out cars. I would have to say something if a countach came around the corner
Hello Richard. Thank you for your lessons. They helped me so much in my driving. One of the most important lessons was to accept that I am going to make mistakes, I am going to piss-off drivers, and I am not going to make it perfect from the beginning. A request: can you make a video on how to turn a very sharp turn, like a tight "A" or inverted "V" shape turn. I could not find any on the channel. Thank you again.
Thank you, this video may help and I've been making a video today about what you're talking about but that won't be available until February. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Avv0lHVnu1s.html
Oh my God, I really like your way of commenting on her good and bad points. If you don't mind, can I suggest that you don't shorten the video please? It would be more efficient for us as a learners to watch the whole process. Thanks for your amazing videos.
God damn shes better than me at navigating that labyrinthian of a road you guys got. Here in Canada we rarely have bends in the road and drive auto and people still fail.
One thing I was taught in my German driving lesson for parallel parking. Tilt the passenger side mirror down when there are lowered kerbs, helps to avoid driving over the kerb you cannot feel. Just remember to tilt it again before driving off. I don't use it anymore but it helped to pass the test :)
Hey Conquer Driving, I’m soon going to be starting to learn how to drive. I am currently a motorcyclist and planning on learning to drive with my mum. What are the most important things that people tend to fail on in their test please. I admire your videos!
