EVEN MORE DEAD GAMES: What Went Wrong? 

These games are as dead as I am inside Anyways buy my merch

Among us had so much momentum and just threw it out the window by not adding new stuff

I want an alive games series where macro discusses what the games like genshin, apex, valorant fortnite, etc are doing righ and how they seem to be able to continue with their relevance in the industry and keeps growing, and why are they still alive(overwatch,csgo ).

The thing that makes me personally sad that Among Us is dead, is that one of the developers (Puffballs) made a game that was a gigantic part of my childhood, The Henry Stickmin Collection. I loved all the games in it so much, they were absolutely hilarious. I wish that Among Us has that same feeling for me, but now it's just a random joke in my backlog.

I still can't believe that rumbleverse is gone. It seems like the devs had so much more they want to do. Shame that it never got off the ground.

these games are dying faster then my will to live

I find it really funny how he mentions the fall guys “comeback.” While the game did comeback for a few months, the last 2 seasons killed the game off. I think if another dead games video is made, fall guys might be in it.

What was always weird to me is that among us was a popular game during 2020 and everybody loved it back then, but now the focus is on among us vr which is still played by a good amount of people.

Yes Macro, Bloodhunt should be a futuristic game with super humans. That is such a refreshing concept that hasn't been overused for the last 9 years.

I actually played Bloodhunt recently because I watched your “End of Bloodhunt” video and honestly I loved the game as well, it was pretty easy to play but not too easy as I’ve only won once. As you said yea the Style of the game kinda threw me off because it seemed a bit creepy but I still wanted to give it a try because I had fun playing it. I found games suprisingly quick so maybe (hopefully) it will make a comeback, I mean they did introduce the new class that can fly so hopefully more gets added.

Halo Infinite was like a diagnosis for a terminal illness. You wanted it to get better, and you held out hope. But in the end, it still died.

I'm loving this new editing style.

Bloodhunts aesthetics are the only reason I started playing the game. It actually makes it stand out and doesn't look like every other shooter. The vampire stuff is what keeps it "alive" for now. It's unique. And gorgeous.

Bloodhunt is actually flourishing since the beginning of the new season, and the devs planning on marketing the game once the performance are stable and they add enough features, for the astatic I personally love it, I guess it's just a niche game

i played rumble verse and bloodhunt for a long time, never thought these 2 will die out so quick , the different approaches from main br line of these 2 games were really fascinating though.

I still play Halo Infinite but it is indeed kinda dying. Even though there are almost no maps. It's still really cool and fun! With season 3 being just released. There is a lot of new customisation added in the game. And the new bandit rifle. That rifle just hits the spot. The campaign is really fun just like the multiplayer but the player base is dropping and fast. So yeah I hope people are starting to play it more again but until then. We will have to wait. 😔👍

Hey Macro, I would love to see a video from you on deceive inc. It is a spy fps game that's alot of fun in my opinion. It's relatively new and I hope it can build a strong player base and not die like so many new games do.

Me and a friend tried rumble versus expecting to be disappointed. It looked goofy and we just wanted to try it just to make fun but honestly? It was surprisingly good! We came back and played it multiple times. Even when we lost we still had fun because of how goofy the game felt. I’m sad to see it go but to be honest, I didn’t expect this game to last for that long anyways

Man I loved splitgate it was the first fps game in ages that I was actually decent at and I was so sad when it announced that it was shutting down

Among us vr is going well I think. The main game is ehh. But the vr game is amazing. It has proximity chat, it works well on vr and they’re adding a new map to the game which is exclusive to vr and they plan to add more to it. I’ve made over 5 friends on that game along just on how fun it is.

Well the last update for halo infinite was actually good I wouldn’t say amazing there are still some thing that I miss from the old halo like duel wielding playing as elites and weapons but to be entirely honest I have fun playing the game modes like the fiesta does bring a lot to the table and well despite it might being a dead I still think there’s a way to revive it I think otherwise back to the master chief collection

Honestly , I think splitgate is BETTER than half inf as it not only has more content BUT It even added forge before halo inf . Even if splitgate is also not looking in a good place right now , I still enjoy it and find games really quick

Bloodhunt already appeals to a specific niche which is the Vampire the Masquerade tabletop game. So changing the aesthetic and emphasizing characterization over customization would take away from the draws of the IP - which is about creating your own vampire trying to live in the real world. These changes aren’t bad ideas per se, but it would effectively no longer be Vampire the Masquerade.

Ahhh i was playing Multiverse so hard with my friend when it first released. But all the lag, ping and connection issues made the game really unplayable. Not only that but also unbalanced matchmaking was a huge issue aswell. One match you were getting 5 level noob and another one 40 level monster.

Everyone calls star wars battlefront 2 dead asf, but i never stopped playing. 3 years now with absolutley no updates whatsoever, and i still play it just as often as 10 year old me when the game first released

I've started played Infinite halfway through season 2 (the only money I spent on the game was to buy the campaign, so I don't know if these are available for unlockables in the premium pass) and the one thing that doesn't seem right for me, as you said, that customization parts are only available for a certain armor type. The protruding parts, like armor plates, I can get for some, cause the animations might clip through, but forcing a color scheme you unlocked only to a specific armor seems kinda odd IMO.

wait I forgot about Multiversus and I was so hyped about that game on release..

one game I was surprised didn't die is roller champions. it's a little 3v3 sports game which combines roller scates and more or less basketball. you have an oval arena where you have to complete laps and in the end throw the ball through a ring to get points. you have to do 3 laps to have the maximum points reachable (5), but you can throw the ball inside before that too. And I was surprised the game is still up and running, probably because they implemented earning a shop cosmetic that you choose for free just by playing.

Still can’t believe both Rumbleverse and Multiversus are gone/going away. They were truly both unique games and there’s so much I wanna talk about them, but I’ll just state the best parts about them, mainly Rumbleverse. The characters in Rumbleverse are uniquely aesthetic, I love the buff cartoony physique they had and they reminded me of Johnny Bravo because of the built the characters had, next the world was so beautiful, so much so, that they added life to it from small butterflies flying around to seagulls munching on protein bars in the trash cans lol, the world of Rumbleverse had so much life and the game already felt very finished as well. The characters and style of the game fit so well, but what got it killed was of course bad marketing and the main thing was the fact that people cannot appreciate new things, they didn’t give it a chance because they assumed it was a copy of you know what, the overrated battle royale game, and because of that it failed to gain attention from people. I feel that they shouldn’t have included a battle royale at all in Rumbleverse. Just hope it comes back soon and better than ever without the battle royal aspect of it because I loved that game so much and the style of characters and just miss it so much. Oh and forgot to mention the reason why I love these 2 games is because I love fist fighting games with a free-roaming style to it, specifically Rumbleverse and there isn’t any other fist fighting game I can think of that let’s you do that besides open world games like gta, saints row, mafia, etc.

I think what hurt rumbleverse the most was that it got a huge marketing campaign for its february release, then out of nowhere they pushed the game back indefinitely, and when it did come out eventually, there was zero marketing about it, and then they suddenly announced they were gonna kill the game servers
