Oh i personally have been long gone from the game since a year after the CV rework, i just like watching the dumpster fire that they keep adding more and more that keeps pushing more people out!
I have complained about getting Dumpstered by an Annapolis in In game chat before, calling it broken. Yanno what kind of replies I got? "Oh so a Des Moines with an extra turret is broken to you??" and "What makes Annapolis more OP than Des Moines" Which lead to a REALLY productive chat where everyone responding defended Superships. I could not believe the shit I was hearing, they defended everything even Conde FFS! I find it hard to believe even an ape could believe those words, but those guys were really selling it.
Flamu my boy you are the only sensible voice out there since the early days of the game! Thank you for all your dedication towards us and the health of the game. Sadly wg doesn't even care anymore.... Keep up being the voice for all of us who love the game!!
Imagine being a Harugomo. Farming Devastation for half a game gunboating. Farming like 160K dmg on just this one ship. He ignores you cos why wouldn't. ANd then he decides to send 16 frickin Conqueror shells your way and you just explode XD And he pops another heal and has 90K health again XD You were utterly useless for your team even though actively during your job for 10 mins XD
@@kuhluhOG Pretty sure the problem has been proved by other people already. Flamu is a content creator. And cv and sub gameplay is shit content. He would not enjoy making it and nobody would want to watch it. Seems like a pretty bad way to spend your time as a content creator. Especially since wg knows how bad they are already. But since their most important metric to measure whether or not it was a waste of development resources and money is popularity, they will buff cv’s and subs to keep it at a certain popularity level. The people who are the boss of WOWS/Wg rather save their ass by telling their superiors: “Look how many people are playing the ships, therefore they can’t be a failure.”
@@gaiuscaesar3841 Technically cruise is type of missile while nuclear is the payload, so could have cruise missiles with a nuclear payload. Perhaps one of the funny buttons where you land 10 cruise missiles and then you just have an instant win button.
What's funny is these ships are nothing like what the UK wanted Lol we wanted armour lots of armour! Though I can see why they went this way it's an obvious progression and I'd expect the same sort of think for the CA and thunderer tier 11s add an extra gun in each turret and more AS job done
devastation healing ability can be even greater than what mentionned. with andrew cunningham (+1 heal), emergency repair expert (+1 heal, +10% heal), india delta flag (+20% heal), ship consumable modification 1 (+10% heal), you get : 4 base heals plus 1 if you kill 2 ships (most likely gonna happen anyway) so 5 heals 1996 x 20 x 1.2 x 1.1 x 1.1 = 57'963.84 PER heal, now x5 and you get 289'819.2 total hp you can regenerate
Man, the royal navy sure had great 3D printing technology back in the forties, given that Devestation can literally print two whole new ships with her heal.
it's over - 16 HE shells can easily dev strike DDs, perma 4 fires on BB at any angle - might get unmentioned british short-fuse AP to deal with anything else - 800 AA DPM because some blind players complained about CV focus - Concealment that outspots cruisers If super Gouden comes, it better have guided-missile AA rockets that insta-kills all planes (but still 60s fire and on-board ASW because reasons)
Novosibirsk has quite a bit worse AA in half the flak of petro and 0,8km less range to throw flak for a bit more continuous starting at only 4km, worse conceal and much worse smokefiring penalty, It's even larger so dodging in it will be like dodging in incomparable, less ability to ambush dds with radar, and it is a larger target by the looks of it... It has to have some pretty sweet armor if it isn't just a straight up worse petro?
@flamu raises a good point, COULD there be several different teams in WG working new ship lines and various new additions to the game, in a style similar to how Activision uses 2 different studios for the COD franchise?
Engineers were TASKED with the design. I believe closing the Russian design studios has ruined any cohesion standardization that may have ever existed.
I want say just little note about detectability after main guns fired from smoke. Napoli having those 254mm guns and that value 8,9km, devs probably didn't want you enjoy both secondaries without secondaries flag on and stay undetected while shooting main guns. It looks devs wanted Super Petro to be spotted, if it would sneak to DD in smoke use its 12km radar and shoot. >>> It is WG logic, not a gun caliber logic. I am just adding that Colombo with its 380mm guns and 16,7km detectability range after guns fired from smoke ends up with smoke to be used just either for cap, escape when hurt or burning and needs turn broadside away or single salvo surprise attack if such rare opportunity comes in. But 300K HP with heal, Holy Molly, that thing deserves HE spam. 16guns with 7200 alpha plus 48fires chance, it looks like lot of fun, Thunderer put in shame. Also fire chance per minute on Devastation looks higher than that found on Thunderer (48x16x60/35 vs 63x8x60/26 if you ignore enemy reduction modules and captain skills) Btw already looking forward (ironically) to next season of ranked to be exclusively T10 with all new classes in. So all ships needing to grind gonna left on same "conditions" in random battles. WG always delivers meat for CVs and subs (everywhere).
i would not be suprised if each batch of ships is run by a different team and the project leaders do not give much feedback to the other teams, eve online had this issue for a while but appear to have solved this to some degree the different teams work on different areas now unlike WG who have 5 teams working on ship tree alone

Man, Wargaming has gotten so bad they can't type a proper sentence. "Oh, don't worry about that. We just love to continue pumping out new ships for our great contributors and consumers to use for a certain price." Is this ever going to stop? The more these demons continue to tell us to pay with our souls, the faster the game gets dropped 6 feet under. Great PR as always, Wargaming.
Just throwing this out there - Petro's 220mm guns have better pen than Yoshino's 310mm and Marseille's 330mm. Seriously. The 254mm's on the Supership version are going to citadel battleships at basically any range. Wouldn't be surprised if this has similar or even better pen than Stalingrad.
Aaahhh of course at the end those ships comes because of CV and subs … Flamu, you are great at BB, Cruiser and DD. But I would like to see you playing a bit more those classes that you are criticising so often and really score the 200.000 dmg that you showed on your video (and for the sake of it, show the amount of game you play with them). I tried CV, I tried Subs also, it not that obvious to score (some are still OP; united state etc ..). But in sub, torp ship with 6km range when you have 2-3 radar (DD or cruiser) is difficult. I’m pretty sure (first that you will ignore this comment but second) that it will not be easy challlenge event for you. I hope that you will have the honesty to do it.
if your struggling to farm damage with high tier subs or CV's then your simply failing. both have absolutely no risk when played properly. free to farm damage for the entire game and die in the last few minutes. unlike every other class which has risk involved for the entire game.
Flamu is the last person too want cv&sub gameplay from, go watch flambass or something, he plays ALL CLASSES and has verities of the ship classes in his vids. My favorite vids from his are the Eagle vids, because he displays how easy the class is too play by getting 200k+ dmg games
did they forget the last time super-cruisers were a balance nightmare do they want it to be back? They will literally need to retroactively nerf super ships to streamline their fire chance to 60 seconds.
super petro just seems meh, it loses petro's concealment/AA/mobility for what? the guns and dispersion formula aren't changed, perhaps better armor? it just looks pale compared to Conde or Satsuma
Someone should inform flamu that there is such a thing as different turrent technologies and just because a turret is heavier doesn't mean it has to turn slower..... there are like 10 different ways to turn a turret and all these technologies could be and where routinely improved. Its like he sees oooh it's heavier there is no way it can turn faster right... derp derp I hate this game but let me keep making a living from it 😂😂

I don't think wargaming is as stupid as we think, I feel if their aim is to take more skill factor out of the game and make results more RNG, then they are doing a fine job! On the Asian Server MM, the ship distribution is so off, one will just have the advantage right off the start.

What some screaming Finnish youtubers don't understand, is that lack of technology at some specific point means little in terms of design. Taking into account the time it requires to prepare a preliminary design, then to approve one and to develop a necessary set of documentation, the missing technology can be either developed or simply bought. For example, the British began construction of Queen Elizabeth class without having the guns and turrets to arm them, as a result the armament was developed alongside the construction of the hulls and it worked just fine. Similarly, the Soviets began construction of the Soviet Soyuz without the guns, which were developed after the ships were laid down, tested and even saw service in WW2.
I think this guy just likes to complain. I bet a million dollars if WG ever asked him in front of his face(and they won't), fine, what should be the parameters for the the devastation? Keep in mind it's a super ship and should be better than the lower tier? I think he would find it would be harder than he's complaining about to make himself happy
not sure why complaining about more ss. everyone knew this was coming. each line getting a ss. no big surprise. dont see many ss in games now. will see them when new ones are released, but then it dies down. they are expensive to play.
