So I made an esports game during the pandemic. Check my latest vid out. Not sure how else to get a hold of you so if you want to delete this comment then by all means. :) insta: SnooksV3
Oh my god loot river. I love games with innovative artstyles, and I’ve never seen a game look like that- or play like it either! Hope it comes to switch 🤞
So glad The Cork is still alive. I fell in love with that first trailer. The sense of grand scale seems to still be there and the new characters look awesome!
Honestly, I've added a lot of games from this list to my wishlist. But the TOP 3 OH MY GOD. What a great bunch of amazing ideas. My jaw dropper with Loot River.
By now you've become my primary source of new Steam game recommendations. I don't know if it's just me discovering you, me running out of existing games in my interests or Steam adopting an algorithm that players like me find worse.
Astral Ascent is so good, I recommend to anyone who is interested to download the demo and have a few runs! Its very interesting and well crafted. Thank you for the suggestions as always buddy.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't overjoyed at TMNT. Much of my youth was spent playing TMNT in the arcade. I miss the Cork's old look, but I understand why it was changed. Loot River and Astral Ascent look so incredible.
Simply put.. Magnifico! Excellent list mate.. love them all! Btw my wishlist is now in the triple digits lol. I especially love the inclusion of TMNTs day 1 for me. Also I'm super glad cork is back action. I've been waiting ever since i heard of it! Great pixel picks!
For all the jokes about it's perennial TBA status, Radio the Universe is apparently finally coming out this year, Q3-4 iirc. Hope to see it here someday.
Great list as usual but i have to say loot river just impressed me! I loved everything about it in this short showcase the idea the graphics and gameplay everything is original and genius, only indie devs would come up with such insane but genius ideas
I'm rather glad you support your local developers, because most of the stuff you share from them looks pretty cool. The original minimalist look of Cork was a mixed bag. I thought it had a certain charm, but I didn't find it very appealing personally.
As someone who championed the _Turbo Kid_ film back when it was released, I'm surprised that they're working on a game now, but I wish them good luck! (Given the film only had a $60K budget, I can only imagine what the funding for the game is.) Also, Telomere looks very interesting; I like that they seem to be taking a chance on their audience being smart enough to follow along.
@@ClemmyGames If you do, you really need to keep the budget in mind while watching. And I'm not sure the content would play as well to someone who grew up in a modern cosmopolitan city like Singapore. That said, it is indie!
6:45 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge - this is my most anticipated in this list. This should have taken the first place in this list. I finished all the TMNT games during the FAMILY COMPUTER ERA.
I especially love the top 3 on your list. I backed Astral Ascent as soon as it came online Monday, looks even better than Dark Devotion and I love the new art style. It will be a long wait though -- they plan to go into Early Access in Q1 2022, and then stay in EA for a full year to incorporate user feedback, aiming for 1.0 PC and console releases in 2023.
@@ClemmyGames The Astral Ascent demo, which is only available for download on Steam during its Kickstarter period, is well worth playing -- wow, I love it!
A Turbo Kid game that is a metroidvania with excellent pixel art, ultra violence, a synthwave soundtrack, and bike jumping mechanics??? I find it hard to believe that some of these developers aren't just reading my mind at this point... Also, really excited to hear about Shredder's Revenge and The Cork Book I!
Cool! A modern 2d TMNT game! After " Streets of rage" it had to be. Glad to hear! Not a fan of top downs ( with the exception of "Dark wood" ), but "loot river" looks neat.
Thanks yet again, Clemmy💙💛💙 I just can't seem to catch up on your videos...too many 😸 so I apologize for the constant comments...too many of those too 😊
Thanks for doing what you do Clemmy🙂 games are a great escape especially during this pandemic. Really looking forward to Shredders Revenge, love beat em ups. Also an awesome top down shooter called Deaths Door and Necromunda Hired Gun. Which gives off Doom vibes☺️
I hope Beholgar gets to use his shield, but if it's only cosmetic, then they should give him a badass zweihänder instead. Turbo Kid is intriguing (the movie is fine) and TMNT, of course, is the cherry on top here. Telomere and World Box also look good. The Cork, on the other hand, still looks terrible (in my opinion, of course).
Got some excellent looking games. Shame some of them aren't coming to consoles such as the Switch. I'd like to have Beholgar on my Switch. Gotta love those old school 8-bit(and 16-bit) pixel graphics, though.
It only means Clemmy is doing this full time with lots of dedication, hard work and time to get information on the internet and talking to some programmers.
@@awakenedsoul2638 He's a beast, I am in a lot of groups for game development (indie) and he still finds a lot of amazing games I've never heard about. Clemmy rocks.
Thanks for the support. Somehow this is still nota full time thing yet, just something I do on nights and weekends, and yeah, sleep does get affected sometimes, but glad to see it's reach and to help connect players to developers!
Beholgar! 2D barbarian style retro platformer with both melee and throwing weapons, Yes please! Devs latest update, I believe its planned to release july?
