I've been debating this with a company that makes replica U87-type condenser capsules. "Yes, condensers can be used on stage, look at the KMS105." "Yes, even Large Diaphragm Condensers can be used on stage, look at the AE5400." Yet to hear a good response from them haha. Might build my own LDC (using their capsule) one day...
Not me having a sm7b realizing I could have just gotten 4 sm57s or 58s and use an eq to recreate the mic...also any sm57 or sm58 like mics from Lewitt? Asking for my sad wallet
@@AlbertBalbastreMorte I wondered the same thing, but I think he might have just been referring to the price. Ie, you can do the same thing with one sm57 and still be able to afford 3 more. Is that what you meant @C.S.Argudo? Or is there some actual reason you’d need 4 mics?
Hey, I watch your videos a lot. What is the current microphone setup you are using? Also, if I purchase the same equippment from you guys, will it sound the exact same on my end?
We use our own equipment. Usually an LCT 540 S condenser microphone! Yeah, it should sound pretty much the same... but not the exact same since you aren't going to be in our studio and you aren't Maria 😅
