The "All Perk Streak" is a challenge that requires us to win 30 consecutive games using every perk and character in Dead by Daylight. This year, we tried to do it again and our first games taught us an important lesson; even tunneling a Survivor early on isn't always enough to turn things around.

12:00 gave me a huge rush of nostalgia when Otz said "Whispers is off". I remember when every tier list recommended Whispers as the only info perk you needed if you were good at the game. Times have changed.

@@notOtzdarva it's quaint sometimes, there's perks like dragon's grip that between the very long cd and triggering it even without it going off feel like they came pre-nerfed and then solid, mechanically and code-wise basic ass perks that've been the same for ages find a way to nerf themselves with bugs i swear this company must have some of the worst codebase/commit branch management in the vg industry to re-introduce an *absolutely ancient* bug into the live code Patch 1.0.5 Quality of Life: Whispers no longer falsely activates on dead or sacrificed Survivors.

I'm not sure if you've done it before, but adding the context to what a viewer had asked (around the 11:30 mark) is a wonderful addition to your video format. Also, I've never experienced more intense second hand stress from a game than I have from watching you do this series!

Just saying, that Mikaela was something else. I've had killer games that frustrate me terribly because survivors use very strong perks and mechanics, and don't make obvious blunders. That sort of thing you see all the time. The Mikaela you went up against in the hillbilly game, however, demonstrating that amount of raw mechanical game sense was seriously impressive. I think she was just a mechanical badass. Frustrating, but impressive.

Actually in love with this video format - leaving viewers with the cliffhanger at the end making them want more. Feels like a pilot episode of a Netflix show 😅 would honestly binge the whole series if it was uploaded all at once

@@BwanaLasPelotas The second I hear very biased comments like this, I tend to tune out mentally. There's a lot of situations you can't simply hold W against. The skill is knowing when to hold W and when to loop, adapting to different situations. Also let's not argue what takes skill or not cause that's a VERY slippery slope to discuss

So obviously the commentary and gameplay is absolutely amazing, just as others have pointed out, I was also on the edge of my seat the entire time. But I do want to specifically call out the music choices in this video as really, delightfully fitting. It's a subtle background thing, but they're wonderful cues alongside the gameplay to help guide what the viewer is meant to feel. The editting in general in this video is absolutely amazing, huge props to the editor Poggy!! Absolutely incredible job!!!

Otz, as someone who's been a survivor main since I first started playing I was honestly always scared to play killer in fear of getting my ass kicked. As of recently I've actually grown a pair and decided to start playing killer and despite how tough it is sometimes, your videos inspire me to keep going and to play DBD for fun. Your perks build suggestions are such a blast to run and have gotten me to start making my own builds to have fun with. Thank you Otz for the content you make. :)
