I'm so glad yall are settling in, itll take time..Also off the bat of moving to RT Park, yall made friends, especially Winston..To the children need that so much..And stay at home moms too..But like you said " You're from the area"..Other RVers aren't...Be safe..

This was fun!! Seems like once you settle in, it’ll be relaxing. I wanted say try putting a tea towel under your cutting board to help it not slide around, I do that sometimes and it works great. That’s a pretty awesome cutting board, I love how big it is. The one by the stove is really pretty too. When my dad stayed summers in a little camper he loved cooking in an electric skillet, I think we liked it better than the stove 😆. As for changing stuff around, it takes awhile even in a home, after a few years I still think things don’t function the way I want them to, I guess if you don’t design your own home it will probably never really feel perfect for your exact needs, but I can be a little OCD sometimes about functionality and things looking straight. Suggestion from a former full-time RVer, get some fridge magnets at the dollar store and use them to mark which washer and/or dryer is yours. Laundromats can get crowded and it's easy to forget which is yours especially if you have multiple loads. We full-time rv'd for 10 years and loved it. Be safe😊

I love my electric skillet. Ive always had one as its the only way I can fry chicken! Lol. When we used to have a camper for a few years always had that along. Looks like your kitchen is working out well. So glad things are going well for you.

Beautiful home you guys!I love zucchini too,i sauté them chopped smaller pieces and i put eggs and feta and it's delicious omelette.also i dip them in flour and fry them and dip them in tzatziki!many kisses from Greece ❤❤❤❤

Oh Max, what a good dog you are. My 2 would bark and scratch at the screens the second I would leave them in the camper. If you want the camper to not shake as much you can stabilize it with blocks built up under the camper. I’m sure there is probably a you tube video on how to do.Luke I’m sure would be able to do and doesn’t cost much for the cement blocks. That’s what we did and it made a huge difference. That is, if you plan on staying there long term until you find your forever home.

When I was a single mom of 2 I had a Radio Flyer wagon my dad got the kids for Christmas and I used that thing so much. I had no car just that wagon and our tiny apartment and I just loved that thing. Great for getting groceries and taking the kids on walks with it. And we used to live in a ranch style home from the 50s and the kitchen there is so tiny and it was hard to get anything done in there too

I use this to put under my cutting board for non-slip :Gorilla-Grip-Original-Non-Adhesive-Cabinet Liners. It comes on a roll and it washes up easily. Your new home is beautiful!

i think it would be cool if you journaled your new adventure in your RV and while on the hunt for your forever Homestead. Something you could look back on, things you learned and did with Luke and Winston and your new friends. I wish I had done that in my younger years, I just recently started journaling seriously

You definitely seem to be settling in. When you were shredding that cheese on the cutting board and kept watching it move, with the electric skillet on it, I was nervous. I kept saying move it to the counter, lol! I could probably do your homemade version of hamburger helper. My tastes have changed and I'm just not a big pasta eater lately. I think this is going to be great for you and Winston, doing even more together.

I love fiesta spices! They are made not too far from us in San Antonio. It’s about 2 hours away. Have you ever tried their “Uncle Chris’ Steak Seasoning”? It is so good on everything! You should set up a P.O. Box so I could send you some! Homemade hamburger helper looks great! I should make a batch and freeze it for my lunches. Thanks for sharing!

Enjoyed seeing how life is going now in your new environment. As you said, you are figuring things out as you go--I’m sure it’s quite a learning experience. For the hamburger helper meal you prepared, did you use a pound of ground meat? I must have missed that in your explanation. It sure looked easy AND good…😋 I was wondering if y’all had a long tether so Max could hang out with you outside without running off. Yikes. The cutting board slid with something boiling on it. Have you tried a damp towel or (I don't remember if you used this in the RV, that shelf liner that is kinda like foam) under the cutting board? Makes it not slip.
