Evening Wade Trip on the Tennessee River in Chattanooga,TN !!! White Bass and Largemouth Bass

In this weeks episode of Everyday Angler we go for quick trip on the Tennessee River to fish the Chickamauga Dam in Chattanooga,TN...Just a short trip in hope of catching some skipjack. I end up catching some white bass and smaller largemouth bass instead. All were a great fight on my favorite 7WT Axiom II X. The "Clouser Minnow" was the fly of choice for the day and the one that produced the most fishing.

EDA, What a great surprise to have found the location empty. That looked like a scoolie striper. Good work.

Yes it was a surprise and idk.. stripers tend to have bigger mouths. But maybe it was schoolie...I honestly don't have a solid way of verifying the species.

I had a 7 wt that I used a lot fishing for smallmouth in the Potomac. Unfortunately, it broke and the company, Fly Logic, isn't around anymore to honor the lifetime guarantee.

Gotta hate that. For the price TFO is about as good as you can get as far as rods go! In my opinion.
