I can tell you do a lot of ice fishing by the way you hold a spinning reel. Great video. I wish I could get my fishing buddies to go out in the evening. They're afraid of the dark. I totally agree with "subtle movements". IMO, most people scare fish away with violent jigging. I suggest what would be closer called "vibration".
Can we get a video of how you mounted your live scope to the old trolling motor? That is a genius idea! Looks to be a decent portable little easy mount for tin boats like that.
What is LiveScope like when you are fishing around big boulders? I'd imagine a lot of the lakes up there are mostly rocky... Finally get to summer fish Ontario this summer!
Haven’t had any issue with it. But generally we’re not fishing giant rock structure as the walleye on this lake don’t typically hold around the large ones. Mostly small rock and the livescope works well.
Awesome job Emily! That live scope is an amazing piece of electronics!! Really nice fish, seeing them made me want to warm up the oil & get out the beer batter Yum-Yum.
@@darylgilbertoutdoors Please don't get me wrong. I'm a strong believer in catch & release & really appreciate your policy about it. My comment was meant to be more general in that I do think it's OK to retain some fish for eating purposes & IMO Walleye are the absolute best eating fresh water fish there is. Keep up the great work & I apologize if I offended anyone with my comments.
@@paulehlers2225 Nobody is offended at all! We also keep walleye for shore lunch and dinner. Just thought I'd mention we are catch and release for all the big fish.
34" is the lodge record. The biggest I have seen is a 32". Hard to crack the 30" mark but you can put a number of 29"'s in the boat in a day. It's just the magic number out here it seems.
