These devices sound amazing def need the Venus cause my under eyes need help. Is the Venus like the Nira? Unfortunately I had to return the Nira cause it was painful. My dream device is the Myolift but it’s pricey the Venus price is reasonable. Great review & love that you demo the devices for us 💜💜🦋

I purchased the Venus and nothing dramatic but it does work, I have Been using it now for 12 months. I have T.E.D. an it did help my puffiness that the T.E.D causes.

Thank you for this review. I have the NEWA and it's 5 minutes per area and you have a light that turns green when the correct temp is hit. Is this device 5 minutes per area or the whole face and how does one know that you're hitting the target temp? I love the idea of multiple modes at once.

Thank you very much for your comprehensive review on LUMO and Venus - perhaps the best I have seen so far! My question to you is: would LUMO replace a micro current device (like Foreo Bear or ZIIP)? Or the LED mask/lamp ? I mean would you still need to use a micro-current device and LED if you have LUMO or LUMO would be sufficient ? And is this RF + EMS comfortable to use or rather painful? I know from your other videos that EMS can be quite unpleasant ...

Wonderful review!! I have the Lumo and the Myolift mini as well as a high frequency device. Can you incorporate these together? Or would you just use the Lumo? I am a bit nervous to do too much. Thanks for any advice you can share with me. Have a great day :)

Thank you! I don't have a high frequency device, so I can't speak to that. I would space out your use of the Lumo and Myolift Mini so you don't overdo it - I wouldn't use both in the same week. I honestly don't think you need to do both, so I would pick the one you like best to focus on (EMS or microcurrent) and then use that one the most often. And then you can do the other one every once in a while as a maintenance treatment. I'm not an esthetician and not familiar with your skin, however, so I recommend consulting a professional to be sure you have the right plan for you.

So tempted by the Lumo even though I already own some really nice devices. It's the one stop shopping so to speak that is appealing. Right now the only color they have is pink. I will not purchase a pink device. Maybe for the holidays there will be a special and white will be back. also it sounds very similar to the Time Master Pro yet no one compares the two.

Time master pro doesn’t have radio frequency I have a video about that device on my channel if you want to watch it. I hear you about the devices - I also want them all! I got used to the pink color really quickly. I also would have preferred white.

Hi! Have you looked at the Zemits brand of beauty devices? They say to target their professional devices to estheticians or spa owners, but many of them look to be safe for home use. I own the led ultrasound and the portable microcurrent (which feels like EMS).

I have both these devices along with their newly released Mirage. It's an LED mask. I love all their devices (obviously, I keep buying them 😂) and am seeing REAL results. I HIGHLY recommend taking before pics and then updated pics every so often. You'll be amazed!

@@TheMijas07 Hi!! Sorry, I'm just seeing this!! I love and use them all so it's hard to say. I think I saw the quickest results from the Mirage and it's my favorite just because it's so relaxing!! The Lumo truly is clinical grade equipment. You can feel that as soon as you hold it in your hands. I'm seeing the least from the Venus, but there is only so much sagging that can be helped. I feel like I probably need the skin removed from my upper lids. My husband says he doesn't see it. But he isn't trying to put eyeshadow in his crease! 😂

I just ordered the Nira but now I kinda want this bundle!! particularly for the droopy eyelid and dark circles. How would you suggest rotating the Nira with this one? Do you think they’re both necessary? I also got the Mito pro a few months ago (LOVE)… I’m 39 and just getting the first signs of aging so looking for more preventative treatments!!

If you have the Nira, you don't need the Venus in my opinion. I also use microcurrent on my eye area.

Yes I think I would do them on separate days. Or even space it out by a couple of days. Perhaps an esthetician sees this and can chime in. Or you could ask Katie the organic esthetician for her opinion.

Thanks for this video! Is Lumo better than Nebulyft? I am about to buy one next month. I want to target my double chin and jaw area. Any advice?

There isn’t one that is better. They are different. Lumo has EMS+RF and nebulyft is RF only. The best device is the one you’re actually going to use and they both work so if you can tolerate EMS, go for the Lumo. but if you think you’d rather just do 10 minutes a day, try the nebulyft. They’re both fantastic devices. I recommend picking one you want to try and be mindful of the return window in case you don’t like it.

Some people use the myolift and Lumo on different days. Be careful not to overdo it because Microcurrent and EMS both stimulate the muscles. I personally do one or the other.

Do you think that the LUMO EMS function is as good as a device that is only EMS? I have ordered the Truth microcurrent/EMS device as well as NuDerma Clinical for high-frequency and I am wondering if I should have just ordered a device like this, that has everything in it so you only need one.

All these devices are new to me. I purchased a Mylolift mid November and everything I have seen/heard says if your skin starts to twitch, to back the strength down until it stops. I have also heard from Maria from Aglia (sp) 😬 who is an esthetician.. that you should use radio frequency device ONCE every 6 months. So.. I’m kind of confused 😆. I wanted to order the Lumo along with the Venus as I could provide the Ultimate Challenge for both of these devices.. but I am a wee bit hesitant. Thank you Trina 🌹

I understand that the EMS microcurrency is more powerful than a traditional microcurrent, then so we need a separate microcurrent device such as a Myolift qt or FOREO? Or does the Lumo ems work differently.

Hi Trina 😍 Thank you so much for your channel. But I am confused... All the deceives recommend use it every day or every other day. Nebulyft, Tri pollar, Newa Nira laser etc.. But you, who I very appreciate your channel, recommend only every 2 weeks. Another channel that I watched also recommended one time a month... at home RF devices, like the Lumo, DO NOT cause facial fat loss. With this device, you follow the routine/cadence in the user manual that is based on your age, skin concerns and modes. It will be different for everyone.

Hi, I just received The Lumo and Venus. I plugged in the Venus, but do not see any lights or indication that it is actually charging, so I am concerned it is defective. @@sherrilynch7156 Hello! I just found out that there are other brands suggested because it is an upgrade. Apparently, Venus is great to use to maintain good eye area, to prevent getting worse. I wish I knew about it 10 years ago to have for maintenance. I feel that all of a sudden, there are so many devices to select. When I was younger, Dermawand, steamers, and microdermabrasion machines was the only thing available. I’m glad there are options now, but I wish they were at this stage ten years ago to use before I started sagging.

I'm confused about the EMS units... The device specs say 2.75-15 mA depending on mode. If the current on many microcurrent devices is 300-400 mA or so, isn't this very small?

I'm comparing devices, and all these different modes have different values and sometimes the same modes are measured in different units that aren't the same thing, like hz and volts. Ugh. This is a great video! I am 52 and just noticing the jowels starting to look droopy, especially in the morning. I am reviewing so many devices and I am so confused. My top contenders are the Ziip, Evenskyn Lumo and the Tripollar Stop VX ( pricey). I also would love to address my eyes for prevention( lids, crows feet) but my main concern is loss of firmness in the lower face. Help!

@@jztpollak I haven't been using RF lately as I've been testing out different modalities. I know it's confusing about cadence, but be sure to follow the guidelines from each device becuase they are all different. The Nebulyft and Lumo are very different devices, so that's why the cadence is different.

It's not better. It's different. It's like asking which color is better, blue or green. It's really up to you to decide. The best device for YOU is the one you will use consistently. I have videos about both devices on my channel so watch and pick one. good luck

@@andreeani no i haven't. I switched from using aloe vera gel to the Newa RF gel which has less water in it then I was able to use RF without the shock. But then, it probably less powerful now, which mean im not sure the RF might not penetrate deep enough tho. What's the point of me using it, then? Very annoying!

@@flawlesscomplex please contact the customer service. They should know better what gel you should use. It is unacceptable to get electrocuted. I believe the Newa gel should be fine but who knows ..please keep us updated with your progress ;)

Hello. I suggest you reach directly out to the evenskyn team. I have spoken with them many times and they confirmed that their device does not cause facial fat loss. So you’ll have to reach out to them to ask them for help. In my video I said how many times I used it and I showed before and after pictures to show you my results. These are my results and they’re not the same as your results so you’ll have to reach out to them to ask them for help. I only know the results I saw on my own face. Or what are you looking for from me?

Keep in mind, she will always have different outcomes because she uses like hundreds of devices constantly and have staples in her routine. This is not just purely using this device without combining others. Hard to really know what is truly working

I use this device a couple of times a week and use microcurrent once a week. It has lifted jowls and tightened my neck. I’ve been trying the radio frequency and vibration modes on the MBK Curve over the last two weeks instead and that is better than the Lumo. The MBK device tightens and firms more and has also really improved my pores. I was surprised by this!

@@elizabethg9346 I checked . Indeed it uses on the face but only cheeks , jawline and neck. So this device is not for the forehead ? . However, collage takes time to built, so could be also from LUMO too. Thank you for sharing I will check more on this device. How deep it penetrates ? There is always a concern with fat loss with all these RF devices .

This company does not stand behind their products. I purchased an EvenSkyn Lumo that cost around $500 and it just stopped working. They asked me to send a video of the problem, which I did. They told me they don’t support their old product line. They refused to look at it. I only had it for 17 months. The screen is so dark that I can’t even read it and they won’t help because I contacted them five months after the warranty expired. SO do you think a $500 product should last only a year and a half?! I asked the person I was corresponding with to give a manager to talk with and she said she forwarded my information to them. They still haven’t gotten back to me, even after a follow up on my part with them saying that now he’s had an injury and is out of the office. My communication has been from August 15th and I still haven’t talked to anyone since her last reply on September 8th. It is now October 3rd. Do more research and buy from a company that stands by their products.

Sorry to hear this, but most companies are strict about the warranty expiration. I have heard some companies being flexible if it was 1 month outside the warranty, but 5 is a lot. I'm curious why you think they should honor a warranty if it's expired for 5 months? Does this work with other warranties with other companies? If so, then what is the point of having a warranty in place - since it is meaningless if you don't adhere to it? My Lumo is still working after years of having it, so again I'm sorry this happened to you.

My comment is to say that I bought a product for $500 and it didn’t last two years. And they don’t have the decency to make it right or have their management talk with me. It was a large purchase for me and I’m very frustrated that I don’t have it any longer.

Yes, the warranty is one year. I was so excited to make the purchase at the time that it didn't matter to me. Now it matters. I can understand why you feel the need to defend EvenSkyn but I also feel that I have to let people know that the product doesn't last. I am a 60 year old woman who took very good care of the device and the screen just stopped working. I expected to pay to have it fixed and they won't even look at it and then didn't continue our conversation, I'm sure they just hoped I went away. @@beautybeyond40

hi, this is a professional-grade product and shouldn't be sold to consumers because of how intense it is for home use. This is stronger than anything that is usually able to be sold to clients.

I am a licensed esthetician and actually have worked with a distributor of this device etc. If a product is used incorrectly or is too strong for a client it can actually cause damage to the skin and reverse collagen production. I see it all the time with at-home peels, thyroid issues etc.

@@bookishb Ok thanks. I used it at home for a month per EvenSkyn's recommendations/instructions and had no problems. There's nothing I can do specifically since I'm a RU-vidr/consumer, so I recommend reaching out to EvenSkyn to talk to them becuase they are the making and selling the device. I can't help it if someone uses the device, or any device, or any skincare product incorrectly or not as instructed, so I'm not sure what you are expecting me to do here. Have a good day.
