I'm a Los Angeles based 49 year old beauty creator. I use skincare and devices as alternatives to injectables. I understand that many people decide to get Botox and fillers, but I don't think this should be done without first trying to take advantage of all the wonderful skincare and beauty devices are available on the market today. My top anti-aging skincare faves are: retinol, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c serum, and SPF. I've been vegetarian for 30 years, which I believe has kept my skin looking young. I've never done Botox or fillers, but use many at-home devices, including microcurrent, LED masks, lasers, and radio frequency. I truly believe that a healthy lifestyle along with taking really good care of your skin and protecting your skin from the sun has a major impact on how your skin ages. Thank you for watching! @@beautybeyond40 this my intension actually, instead of paying for a liposuction, I'm trying this one in a very targeted spots like actual 'jowls bags' and a double chin, not touching any other area on my face, for the rest of my face I use tripolar stop
Thank you so much for this informative video! I was just getting ipl device when I stumbled onto your video. Now I would choose laser machine, but there’s one thing that bothers me. I was wondering if you know if you can treat your scars and spider veins by laser device? I’ve heard ipl can improve condition of your skin in these places greatly and I wonder if laser could do the same or even more? Or not since it only works point by point? I would really appreciate your reply 😊
Honestly those spots are called liver spots for a reason, I recommend IV glutathione therapy and/or having it in your supplements because it supports your liver and hyperpigmentation issues.
Liver spots is a misnomer. “The spots derive their name from the fact that they were once incorrectly believed to be caused by liver problems, but they are physiologically unrelated to the liver, save for a similar color.“ They are sun damage from 50 years of living
Sooo question: I noticed you place your finger initially on the glass to ground it but then you remove your finger when using other attachments, do you need to ground the tool the whole time with the finger or are you able to remove it like you did in the example.. asking as esthetician student
@@ET76001 not true at all. Microcurrent has immediate and cumulative results. It takes time to build new collagen and elastin. I love the ATP glow! Been using it for YEARS and I’m 49 now. Consistency and patience are key. 🔑
I have read the instructions and it is written that dental implants should be firmly anchored before using the device. I am wondering what it means. I suppose that a dental implant must be properly placed anyway. I am interested in this device but I am not sure because of my dental implant
I had a bad experience with RF in office, causing fat loss. Micro-current I loved for the glow and lift that lasts all day , but I also started to see deeper naso-labial folds. Red light - stopped that too because I was also seeing more laxity. So until or unless there’s something backed by overwhelming evidence, I won’t be buying any more devices.
All the devices I use have clinical studies. I will never do in-office radio frequency because of the fat melting setting. If you were seeing this with your microcurrent devices, I recommend ZIIP or myolift which both have settings that won’t tighten the depressor muscles which probably made your nasolabial folds worse. Which microcurrent device did you use? Also which LED decide did you use? Does it have fda clearance and clinical studies?
@@beautybeyond40 I used “The Mini” which is sold by Christine Byer, and it IS a good device - very easy to use and I could see an obvious lift and glow every time I used it. But as I said, after a couple months I was afraid it was doing more harm than good. I did consider that it was tightening the wrong muscles which would cause laxity in others… but how could you possibly keep track of that? And I used Current Body : again: a Good, well-made mask…I loved the relaxation from the red light and I miss that. My face is fairly tight already and my skin is thin so maybe that’s why I see results (good and bad) so fast. I have downturned lines on each side of my forehead too, kind of like an inverted C on each side, that happened with Microcurrent . I wish I could use them without the issues.
We want you to know that we understand your concerns about past treatments. The NIRA Lasers use a 'near-infrared', non-fractional approach that gently heats the dermis, avoiding pain, tissue damage, and fat loss. With five comfort levels, they adjust to different skin sensitivities and are safe for daily use. This method triggers collagen production, leading to the elimination & reduction of fine lines & wrinkles.
@@user-wc3nf6hd7e hi. Not sure which device you are trying to buy, but if checkout isn’t working for Canada, then I would assume it’s not available there. You could ask the customer service on the device site where you are trying to shop to see if they have any international retailers.
@@providencephelps1497 I don’t really have an order of devices. I start with ones that don’t require any gel and then I move onto the ones that do require gel. I do different devices every day so I don’t really have an order. That’s why I didn’t leave a more detailed answer.
Thank you for this video. I bought the Tripollar Stop X. But I wouldn’t have if I knew about the Envig Edge. So you don’t need gel for this?? And it’s only a few minutes for treatment? 😮 Looking at your store can it be purchased in the US? Also what is the order of your devices?
What about the myolift QT? Do you think it’s effective? It also has two modes like the Mini, but has routines on the app that just take a few minutes. Is there any reason you don’t use it?
I included it in the video as an option. Because I have so many devices, the combination I like the best is myolift mini- if I’m going use a myolift device - along with my ZIIP halo. If I only had a QT, that would be of great option, but I have so many options and I like using the ZIIP more. It’s just my preference as it’s a very elegant device and app. Both are effective microcurrent devices.
@@beautybeyond40 Thank you! I always have the fear of missing out… although I have quite a few devices already (microcurrent, RF, LED, high frequency ….) and still plan to get the JOVS Blacken PRO DPL, NuBody (not 100% sure yet) and hairmax devices next. Guess I’m hopeless! And yes, I do use these modalities regularly, especially LED. Love your videos!
55 years old here. I had the backs of my hands professionally lasered in a dermatologists office. It worked and lasted about 4 years or so. I'm thinking about doing it again, but it really did help, just as an FYI.
I tried that! I have a whole RU-vid video about it. I went in for 3-4 sessions I think. It barely touched the spots on my hands, And even if it did, it didn’t last long! I also tried Cosmelan peel on my hands and that didn’t work either. Those are the strongest options I can think of, so that’s why I have given up for now. 😭
You are so lucky to try all these products. No wonder your skin looks amazing. So far I invested in a microcurrent device. I have Bear and am happy with it. I am thinking about investing either in RF or LED device We will see :)
i would like to do it but im hesitant because of how delicate the applicators are! but i sure do love this modality, reminds me of the classic dermawand
You said they both work the same, but which device you found more comfortable to use, easier to hold and work on more difficult areas, such as bikini line? I was about to buy an IPL, I'm so glad I found your video!
The statement “the best device is one you’re going to use” is 100% true. I have devices I haven’t used yet and that’s embarrassing. But watching these motivates me to invest my time. Thank you! I have a question, one device I am using is the medicube 5 in 1 device. I find the micro current on that device really mild. Do you feel the medicube dedicated microcurent, with those little balls on it, is stronger or more effective than depending on the 5 in 1 device? I have both, and I like the dedicated one. It just hurts my teeth quite a bit on one side.
Don’t give up on your hands! I use the number 3 hydroquinone from Obagi Nu Derm and my spots have faded a lot! I’m very pleased with how my hands look now!!
I only use the foreo bear 2 as of now and it works great for me! It's a simple, easy solution and the charge holds a million years lol. What about microcurrent for the body? I've seen that foreo has a bear 2 body as well and would love to hear your thoughts on body devices! Thanks for the video, Trina, I love your channel ❤
Thanks! I don’t have the foreo body device. I reached out to foreo and asked to try it out and they turned me down. I’m not sure why. I have the nubody, wellbox, and Tripollar pose - which all work. In my recent wellbox video, I go over all the body devices I have and talk about my experience with them if you want to go watch that. 😊
Hi Trina 🩵 thank you for this informative video and always interacting with your subscribers in your comment section 🤍. I’m debating between two led panels and really wanted your opinion on which one you believe to be better. Your opinion is the only one I trust for beauty devices. I wanted to see which one you prefer between the Maysama pulse 40 LED LIGHT therapy panel or the Dermalux Flex MD panel? Thank you Trina 🩵
Those panels are very different. It depends what skin concerns you have, your budget, and how much time you have -as it does with every device on the market. The dermalux is very expensive and the treatment times are very long. it’s a flexible panel so you can lay it flat anywhere on your body, but since it has a separate NIR mode, some people use it for pain management . I have separate videos about both panels so you could watch those to figure out which one you think is going be the best for you. They both have clinical trials so you could look at that data to see which one is more impressive to you based on your specific skin concerns.
@@beautybeyond40 Thank you so much Trina for taking the time to write back 🩵!! I will definitely search for both of those videos on your channel. I have one more question, I want to treat wrinkles mostly that are barely starting to come in, some acne, hyper pigmentation from acne scars, also I want to be able to treat my whole body as well, is there any other LED devices that you would prefer over these two for the concerns I mentioned above to be able to use for face and body (price won’t be an issue for me). Thank you again 🌸
This was helpful. I had used Nira laser with Nebulyft radio frequency and ruined my skin. It became thick and scaly. So after a month or so of doing nothing, I've started back with the laser on crows feet and upper lip. I had been wondering what to do with my RF but now I will use it on lower face. I've used the Ladoura hair device daily for a year and a half (no serum) and my hairline and temple hair are thicker than ever. I was afraid to stop using it daily for fear that hair would fall out but I guess it doesn't so I will switch to 3x week. I use my Omnilux mask 3x week and when it dies (lasted 3 yr so far) I plan to buy the Maysama.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the NIRA laser. We're sorry to hear about your initial issues with the combination of treatments. It's great to know that you're back to using the laser on your crow's feet and upper lip. Remember, consistency is key, and we're here to support you on your journey to healthier skin.
this was great! i use the same modalities plus suction devices whether its PMD (with occassional microdermabrasion) or wellbox S. I found suction to be super effective!! Also using estradiol creams helps replenish the estrogen deposit in our bodies. After watching this im definitely considering getting a Nira laser too!
JOWELS! I get so overwhelmed, there’s so many different technologies (microcurrent/nano current/LED/pulsed LED….) but which/what is best for JOWELS? I have an extremely tight budget, but if one of these devices truly helps sagging JOWELS, I’m interested. Asking because you said the quiz might be a little out of date.
Hi Beautiful Trina! I can’t believe how much time has passed but one thing I can say, your skin looks better now than it did when you started. Don’t get me wrong, you are a natural beauty, but you have definitely figured out a great device routine that works for you! Any of the other devices you don’t use, you surely can send my way lol.. Thank you for sharing and all the hard work that you do! 🥰
Thank you for your video! I’m trying to decide on a microcurrent device that would be good for my deep “11” lines. It seems like the Myolift would be best for me but I’m intimidated by it because it seems complicated and I’m a beginner with devices. Do you think the ZIIP would work for my concern with the “11” lines? Thank you for your help!
@@beautybeyond40 Oh wow really? That’s surprising! Okay so have you ever had TSA take them out of your carry on and interrogate you? Obviously you know how expensive these devices are so I wouldn’t want them confiscated. Thank you for your input and knowledge!
Thanks for the update! The Maysama mask looks interesting. Careful with the blue light though. I’ve heard the same concerns about blue light/hyperpigmentation for quite some time (the NIR/hyperpigmentation thing seems to be a bit newer). There’s a bit of research out there on it.
blue light definitely made my hyperpigmentation worse! It helped with my acne but not worth it for me since the tone of my skin ended up looking worse due to the worsening hyperpigmentation.
I love the nanocurrent in my Ziip but never knew that it focuses on the skin. The product developer is vague about nanocurrent benefits. I am very disappointed with my cordless NEWA and would like to get a new RF device. I’m 64 and am just starting to see some sagging in my jowl area.
@@beautybeyond40 it's great for the scalp and i love that it has a handle. plus jane mann has a bunch of vids on how she uses it. she talks about fascia while she instructs the viewer.
