The Top 10 films of AB will be first Sholay, then Anand, then Amar Akbar Anthony, Deewar, Don, Sharabi, Majboor ( a very underrated and probably unknown film), Kala Paththar, Zanjeer, and finally Muqaddar ka Sikander (where his reel and real romance with Rekha began). This is my list. I have not seen his too most popular romantic movies Kabhi Kabhi and Silsilay.

The theme, storey , location , actors , dress ,roles, dialogues and sounds etc everything leave a beautiful affect on body mind heart and soul as and when we see. Screen size and technology etc used were all innovations. Many many thanks for each and every one with prayers of long life ,happy and prosperous life. congrajulations to the entire team of making the land mark film sholay......its very sad to see that no one asked about the details of the classic stunt scene done in the train.....how they might have done so amazingly, the various incidences related to it....another aspect is the superb musical support given by r.d.burman -songs as well as rerecording.....just love sholay.....

Actors, composers, all people who worked together in making Shollay a success gave stupendous effort. Can anyone recollect the scene of sound of the swing when the child was killed. That was too much horror for 1970 Indian audience to take. The film got 2+ years of shooting time and best performers of that time

अद्भुत् अमिताभ !! इनसे सीखना चाहिए कि हिंदी कैसे बोली जानी चाहिए... खास कर दो शब्दों पर ध्यान दें। वे जया के लिए अंग्रेजी के शब्द "प्रिगनेंट " का उपयोग नहीं करते और कहते हैं.. "उस समय जया गर्भ से थीं " , वे "गर्भवती" शब्द का उपयोग बड़ी सहजता से करते हैं। वे शनिवार की जगह "शनिश्चर" का उपयोग करते हैं .... अंग्रेजी में पूछे गए सवाल का जवाब भी वे उतनी ही अच्छी अंग्रेजी में देते हैं। भाषा पर यह अधिकार सबके लिए सीखने लायक है।

The picture was super hit due to amjad Khan as Gabbar . He was main hero of the film .rest all Even shurma bhopalI was exellent to mention And many other small characters. Like shama Kalia tera keya hoga or ungrej jamaneka jailer etc etc It was a cult film by ramesh slippy and selim javed

Honestly I can’t understand what’s so great about Sholay. It’s just an ordinary film.. it may have been a hit a box office.. but don’t discount those days when films were only watched in theatre.. in today’s standards it might rank last.
