Oh wow! Kato is amazing---I just just seeing him lounging around, he looks like the pictures of all the prize hunters I had in all my horse books as a child (OK, truth, I still have most of them!). What a perfect day, you both just get better & better! What a great jon you do with all your horses!
Ashley, I have been in Kato heaven!! First, massive congratulations on your placing, that is a fantastic result, so happy and proud of you and Kato. Kato was indeed epic, he made those cross country jumps look super easy, he and you excelled on this course, he was made for cross country. I can see the work you have put in for the show jumping, even from these semi amateur eyes, it was a lovely polished round. Kato did a nice dressage as well, and your score, not shabby at all, on par with everyone else. Scott and Sarah thank you for your valiant efforts with the video, I did LOL when Greta flashed up, great sense of humour, and why I also love your vlogs. Great job Ashey, and Kato you were 'DECENT'. Kato is certainly looking fabulous - it’s so very obvious this horse has a connection with you Ashley - His dressage test, the canter work was fantastic - trot work maybe could have been more animated - but he’s looking fabulous, overall!!! great job kato WARNING ALL AUSTRALIANS Currently in VIC there is some mystery virus going around that killed over 40 horses in the last week. It is recommended you keep your horses at home and only take them out if necessary. Symptoms can include your horse being lethargic and having a high temperature. We still don't know how this is spreading so fast but a very likely theory is that it is airborne. This has started to spread to NSW and SA aswell but is mainly in VIC. Don't stress too much about the show jumping. You did have to wait a long time. Some horses might have had half the course down. Onwards and upwards!!!

As an animal communicator, before they wrote books on the subject actualy, as was my mother. I can talk to any animal anywhere Kato holds a resentment that you were thinking of selling him at one point you must assure him that he will be with you for life and will never be sold and you are sorry you even thought of selling him. Apologize. Also he says that one pole down is his signiture move and you have to convince him that you do not want him to do that anymore. His jumping clean would please you more. \
