Eventide recommends any TS or TRS expression pedal with a 10K - 25K potentiometer. Models I know work well:
Mission Engineering SP-H9 (but special mode doesn't work)

I own two H90's and love your video's for a quick reminder or reference. With the H90 knowledge is the key factor to your success and understanding of the pedal.

Thanks for this demo! My H90 comes this Friday and I plan on getting a dual expression knob controller for it. If possible it would be great if the TRS inputs could be split so you can control 4 parameters. I guess that's what MIDI is for then...

Thank you sir. Very useful information. I have the H90 in my rack and I would like to switch between 3 presets on the Digitech FS3X footswitch in SELECT mode on my pedalboard. It should be doable, but it's beyond my ability to understand the settings. Maybe as a suggestion for a future video.

Perfect explanation! 👍 I assume the Dunlop JTC95 Justin Chancellor Wah would work as well as an expression pedal? And should i put it behind the H90? I have the Tech 21 SansAmp DI-2112 Geddy Lee in front of it.
