The LISHI tool is such an amazing tool. It will save u a bunch of money if your always losing your keys or leaving them into your car or truck. Everyone should have this tool. At all times
This is more handy when you lose your keys. That tool will get the depths of each cut to make a key that works the doors. On this model the door doesn't have all the cuts to the ignition its usually missing one or two. So you have to either use a program to give you other possible combinations or cut down the last cuts in variation to make a key
This satisfies the curiosity I had about this subject, cuz you never see people in TV or cinema picking a car lock, they always pry the door frame or smash the window... Though the thought of Jason Statham going "2 is bouncy, 3 is bouncy, 4 is stiff..." 😂
Most cars nowadays come with an RFID transponder which does a handshake when unlocking. So you can get in, but you'd trigger the alarm. Not that it really affects your ability to get in
As a locksmith the easiest lishi to use is this one, it’s only for some Chrysler products. I’ve personally picked many of these in a few seconds, while others like older Nissans can take 10 mins or more
I can stick the pick in, squeeze the trigger a couple times, turn it...done... if I need faster walk up with my 2lb pick, throw it through the window, reach in unlock it.
The problem these things are 20$ I can buy a credit card lock pick kit for 3$ from the internet (Credit card lock put kit is basically a lock pick kit inside a credit card so you can take it with you everywhere)
Coming from a guy who stole cars as a young kid and young adult I'm going to tell u this is not how it's done lol all u need is a shaved key and a little jiggling on most cars. Newer ones are a little harder and almost impossible to steal without a chip but there's also a way to configure a new chip key to a car too . Just saying I've known car thrives my whole life and I mean my whole life since a kid and I've never seen anyone actually pick a lock
It wouldn't lock you out from picking the doors that's what an ekey is made for. Unless the alarm is aftermarket it will probably disengage that as well
