so What? ... Are you naive enough to believe that burglar as profession? Take ends to the moment you get in? (i mean , right after youwalk through the front door?) I don't think so, ... a bit shorter Mylord Games ... in my experience, *so modest in that very matter*, *it's infinitely more complicated than that* ! *Besides if you don't wanna make endless journeys between jail and freedom?* *although it's up to you* *THEN* *Take Care with your Life* *we only get one* ... Life of course *and Time flies away so quickly* *please* *Think Twice* . . . ...
I don't advocate for criminals trying to cloak themselfs in being better because of rotten brianwashing terminilogy! Power to the people who care about society!
I can single pin pick just fine, but I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to open a lock with no success using the lishi. It's really hard to control the counter-rotation of the cylinder to allow the pin to fall into place when your tension wrench and pick are attached to eachother. Edit: nvm got it. Don't rely on counterrotation of the cylinder. Just use less tension. I don't find it easier to tell which pin is binding with this tool yet, but I can still open a lock quicker. These are fun, but probably won't replace my standard tools at this point.
My lishi keeps getting caught on something between 2 and 3 I gotta release all tension to move past that point and it becomes impossible for me because all the pins drop I've been trying for days and keep getting caught
@@choymyth713 Try another lock. With my Lishi I can get through the locks on my home extremely fast. But for some reason the locks I have set up at work for practice are much more difficult to pick. Kinda depends on the lock itself.
For those who are curious: the Chinese dude on the logo is Li Zhiqin ["李志勤"]. I think that's his name. He seems to be popular in China for making all kinds of lock picks. Shi means "the family of." So Lishi = The Family of Li.
@@diamondsky3530 just get a bluetooth lock so you open with your phone then you only need ur phone. Seems like people don't lose their phone as they're on them all the time.
@@dtnel I never lose my phone but if you have a Bluetooth WiFi lock it can be hacked. It happens to people ring systems all the time. I’m good on that mechanical stuff may take a few extra mins but it can’t be accessed by anyone except manually at my door which my cctv would pick up
I use this professionally, and one hang up is the mushroom pin. A lot of residential grade kwikset and schlage cylinders come pinned with them. If you don't know what I mean when I say mushroom pin...all good.
Kwikset's are easy. I had a job where I forgot the key to the house. I cut a piece of aluminum off a piece of flashing, bent a small finish nail for the tension, ran the piece of aluminum in and out a couple of times and it turned. did both a passage and dead bolt in less than a minute and a half. Tried it later on the Schlage at home and it wasn't nearly as easy.
Great Class now let me move my bed by my door, i will do the same with my childrens bed for the back door and garage door...thank you I also find a good reason to have different beds from my husband ..No more snoring 😂
@@nounta1016 yeah that’s the only downside. It’s still important to know how to pick individually but if you have like the KW1 and SC 1 or SC4 you can pick most common door locks. If you’re a locksmith or dealership maybe a specific automobile one would be nice to get keys out of a locked car. Or the Masterlock option for padlocks.
@@samdaclamm1334 anything with a Schlage keyway, so for me all I’ve really seen so far is house doors. Lishi makes separate tools for just about every keyway out there but they are kind of expensive so I would prioritize getting maybe 2-4 of the most common keyway tools and call it good.
after watching, reading the comments, i searched google for two things decoder and lishi. I see someone commented you need a decoder(without doing research on it yet) is this true? also I found 6 piece kits (6 different picks around $200-400). without bias do you need 6 different lishes, and/or is this just the most common one?
I just got a set of lock picks and what I'd like to know is how does one know which direction to Leverage The torsion bar? I've been working on a lock inside my apartment on a door for days and days and still have made no progress using my pics. I think lock-picking is extremely difficult and should not be attempted by anyone who's an amateur and never done this before.
Hello very intersting, but how do you choose the good Lishi 2 in 1 for a specific door's lock??? Do you need different Lishi?? Tnx a lot Greatings from Switzerland
I have been practicing with my Schlage lock. It has been behaving strangely and I’m not sure what’s happening. The lock turns in both directions but only unlocks clockwise. When applying tension clockwise, I was always able to bind the first pin and clearly hear a click, but the other pins felt very loose no matter how much tension was applied, and they never bind. When applying tension counterclockwise, I was able to bind every pin and hear clicks along the way. Most of the time, however, the lock didn’t turn even when all pins were set. I did make sure to apply little tension. So far, I’ve only succeeded 3 times counterclockwise, although it doesn’t open the lock. Technically I am only supposed to practice clockwise, but I never succeed that way. Doing it counterclockwise didn’t make it open, but it provided some feedbacks for the very least.
I am very grateful for this video and I need some help from anyone who can offer it. I recently bought one of these, my first, and the problem is that it will not fit in any lock I try it on (it is too big).. In the video it is labeled SC1, mine is labeled CY24.2. I wonder is mine too big and I should try to get a smaller size? If so, how would I know what a smaller size is? I look forward to someone responding to my questions! Thank you.
I’m a firefighter and have been looking for a quick/simple/an easy to carry why to get through deadbolt on calls like water leaks. Would you recommend this product?
@@photronsardarkling2064 no your moms house I’m not worried about damaging her locks when I break in and shove my cock down her throat while she’s sleeping
I have three vehicles 90's and older that are locked and I have misplaced the keys in one of them. Not sure which one possibly in one's trunk. It's either a locksmith payed to unlock each of them in hopes to find them or buy something to unlock them all myself. My question is will this work for all the locks?
Hey what about the different models? SC1 SC4 KW1 KW5 AM5 M1/MS2 LW4 LW5 etc, how do you know which type you can pick with each model>? IS there any site where we can find specifications for these models? Thanks for posting @ITStactical
I had trouble with mine also. It would kind of grab randomly for some reason. Almost like it had burrs on the pick. But it didn’t have any. I think it’s due to the short keyway and the angle of the picking tip.
I noticed you said one was 5 pin. And another is 6 pin. But you dident say weather the picks came as 5 or 6 pin types. Or do they make these in other types. I'm shure no berrals but. Are there other types?
The problem with these tools at that there's about two dozen and a half versions of them and no one would really know which one they needed unless you specifically knew the brand of the door lock that you had on your house or the door you were trying to get into that wasn't part of your house.
I have 14 lishi tools and three practice locks plus the locks in my house. Not a single tool fits into any lock i have. The m1/ms2 tool doesnt even fit into the practice padlock it came with.
Go to the metal scrap yard and look for old locks, take them apart, study the mechanism, use your own ingeniuity to make tools & stuff, That's the poor man's way, the only real one to become a master. Be curious, persistent, learn to improvise and observe! Have fun with the things you do, don't consider it schooltime when you practice, but playtime!
Cool, tool and scary to know that a simple device makes locks obsolete. I can even imagine a simple controller with rudimentary S/W can essentially make a modern day skeleton key that would do the whole thing is less than 5 seconds (assuming the pro's who complete can do it faster than that, doubting criminals can)
You can easily say the same about lots of things. There are bad people in the world that will use inanimate objects to do bad things. You don’t need to take things away from people because a bad person might use it for bad things. If you do, you’re just an overreacting Karen that would take fire from people because of arsonists. Or take water away because people have drowned others. We have enough moral busybodies in the world. We don’t need more.
To the burglars…this tool will help you guess where the pins are on the lock…but can you guess what kind of ammo I use? Here…let me put the thought in your head👍
No, the spacing is different. You need a different decoding tool for each type of lock, and there are a ton. This is great for locksmiths who need to decode and make new keys, but a giant waste of money for someone who just wants to pick locks, unless you want to carry around a 10 pound bag of decoders.
