This song really hits for me since I heard it in '13. Amazing it only has 373k views 10 years after publication. Underrated gem. The whole vibe of being middle aged and tired of the expense and drag of corporate life.
I can't even put how happy I am into words. It's really great to see one of my favorite bands come out with an album that actually lives up to the expectations of a lot of the fans.
Most recent album was Black Is The New Black in 2015. They do a new one about every few years now. Just a mix of when the urge to write new stuff hits them and when they have the money together to record and distribute.

Yeah i have listen and own every EverClear album. Every album is f.....amazing Art has a ear for a great song and is bar none one of the greatest writers ever from the 90's.
I saw Everclear open for Gin Blossoms, Excellent show. So many of Everclear songs have pulled me out of the darkest moments in my life. The set they played was mostly the older songs.... Those are the ones that hit me in my heart. Music has been my life saver. I share so many emotions with the So Much For The Afterglow album! So glad Everclear is in my life, Helping me stay alive!!!!!!
Yeah, they're touring together. It's called the Summerland Tour; its Everclear, Sugar Ray, Lit, Marcy's Playground and The Gin Blossoms. Most badass line-up of 90s bands.
Invisible Stars was pretty kick ass, a record you can listen all the way through. Everclear has a new record coming out in March, 2015. I'm pretty stoked!
You know what, I just realized that what makes Everclear awesome is just a few things. The singer, the unique guitar style, uncomplicated drumbeats, and the keyboarder. So in short, everything that Everclear is. It's a bonus to a lot of people that they stay lyrically relevant in this shattered household world.

OH MY GOD. I just saw this on the recommendation videos. I was a bit confused why my favorite band in the late 90s was showing up.. then I saw the published June 28, 2012 date.. then I heard the song.. mind = blown.
Everclear is one of the best bands, not a great song, but from my experience their full albums usually have hidden gems and I'm excite for the new album
As much as I love the band, love this album, love this song... can we just mention what a fantastic job this director did making such an amazingly apt, upbeat and meaningful video that suited the songs and on, what appears to be, a limited budget. This really is a video worthy of the brilliant song it sits with. Worthy of a load more views too!
still the thinking person's grunge band. protest music in a beautiful disguise. and some fantastic comedic acting from Art too! the highlight of my week, seeing this, feeling like I always do, that someone understands me and rocks it out with a finger to the orthodoxy. I heart everclear 😅🤓

I seriously don't understand what makes fans of the original trio think that it's not Everclear without Craig & Greg. Art has always written almost every song and he's produced all their albums. Even his bands before Everclear, Colorfinger and The Shakin' Brave, were like first incarnations of Everclear. Not to mention Craig & Greg left because they wanted to. They weren't fired and neither is itching to get back in. At least listen to the music Art's made since before you criticize.
