I saw the original line up once, it was their last tour, met the band.. it was the highlight of my young life for a long time lol.. I've gone on to watch Art and the new line up a handful of times.. always special for me... This video is an absolute treasure, thank you so much for sharing!!! Literally means everything to me at the moment!!
I am loving this! I have watched it three times alreadyt! They rocked so hard at these early gigs. I miss that. Everclear has really mellowed out since this.
They were such thrashers back then! I saw them at a similar in store performance close to Vancouver at an A&B sound (probably like the same tour/promo). It was nuts being in the store jammed against a rack of CDs. Had to leave early cuz my sister had to go work at Blockbuster that night :(. Look how he slaps that bass like nobody's business in Electra Made me Blind!!!! Thanks for posting. One of the best moments of my youth by far.
Art screwed up fire maple song bad in this performance with all the vocal cracks it completely ruined the song fire maple has always been my favorite Everclear song it is easily the most beautiful and powerful song in their catalog I think art did not know how to sing properly and never got help form a vocal teacher and it put a lot of wear and tear on his voice he strained his vocals a lot that’s why his voice is so bad now their are way better performances of fire maple song on RU-vid
