I used to be an advocate for putting tire slime in my scooter tires. Then one time pop my tire and the slime moves out and I almost had a horrible wreck. The tire slime is good when you have pin. Pricks but be careful going fast if it leaks makes a pavements super slick
Bro you literally did not have to add the part where you fixed the tire, you sir are a goat for that. I'm buying mine soon and going to come back to this video as reference.
Thanks for that ! This scooter is going to make you want more . Look into the dual motor they sell on ebay around $800 . This is what my next scooter goin to be . But I still live upstairs 1 bedroom apt . It will be hard . Take care and good luck 👍 . Just ordered (2) of these. After researching and watching reviews of many types of scooters, this one was above all the deal maker. Has everything my wife and I were looking for on our camping trips. As for getting around the campsites (roads and paths) being lightweight, fold-able, sufficient torque for inclines, comfortable, great range and speed when you need it, and just down right cool looking. And with the help of your video sealed the deal. Can't wait to get them to the camp sites as we travel. Great Review!!!
@@budgetrydes4820 thanx for the help, much blessings, now is there for me to upgrade the battery so it can last a bit longer and if the factory one dies I can put the fresh one in and? Just a bit of critical thinking..lol..and is there a link ? Thanx a bunch
@@DavidSanchez-cc7sq yes .. you can but finding one that would fit? Or you can always put it in a bag .with an extension I should have the battery upgrade video by April..
You probably just need to adjust them. There is a screw on the back inside caliper . Turn it clock wise just a bit to bring the pad closer. . Inspect the pads. Remove them if worn and look on Amazon and compare and buy something similar. Good luck
Yes it is . High end low costs .and my favorite body style.. the Battery is upgradable too . Just ordered one , hope it fits.. gonna make a video of it. Everyone forgets to inspect their tires..when its soft it's slow ,top speed will be around 15mph to 18mph the tires needs to be nice and firm to achieve top speed.. 27mph or so Thanks for letting Everyone know that these speeds are possible..take care N. ride safe ..
YOU OUGHT TO ADD SOME TAGS TO YOUR UPLOAD - This is the same scooter as othr brand names HITWAY and SOUTHERN WOLF H5. People are worried in the UK about spare parts for the HITWAY / SOUTHERN WOLF but do they realise they need to search for other brand names on the same scooter?
I think the seat post can be removed, but it looks like it's also screwed in under the deck cover so that will have to be removed to do so. The makers of this scooter are putting solid tires on it now. I like air tires better, but at least there's suspension with it.
I’m leaving the solid tires. The air tires are too small and prone to flats. The seat is real easy to remove as well as the post. One bolt removed the whole thing.
I am updating my comment as I was able to get a replacement part from a gentleman who works for this company. Here is what I have to say. This is an excellent product for the price you pay on Amazon. $599 and you sometimes get a $50 coupon. I love this scooter. I had an issue with the motor and Wang was able to send me a brand new one within a few weeks. He is a real gentleman and will help you to the best of his knowledge. Overall this scooter gets me back and forth to work with no issues. I weigh 230 pounds I get about 22 mph which is perfect for me. I don’t need to race. So comfortable to ride. You don’t need to use the seat unless your lazy or whatnot. If anyone wants to know anymore about this product, send me a message and I will help to answer your questions. I’ve had this scooter for 6 months and it’s still runs smoothly.
I have bought the Evercross electric scooter and I accidentally mixed up all the P-2-99 settings in the controller. Can you send me or tell me what are the default trigger accelerator controller settings?
Sometimes I miss comments.. that's good to hear Frank! Glad to know that evercross responds and helps there customers.... and you are here to help others. Thank you.. I had a dull clicking sound coming from the inside the motor ,very annoying and embarrassing.. took a while but I fixed it . And will share the details on my updated video next week.. .
I love the seat on this scooter. Reason why I got it in the first place and yes I’m lazy in a good way lol! I also have a smaller scooter (schwinn tone 2) which does not have a seat but I use it when I want to ride a scooter standing up. No issues with my Ever-cross yet, just the rear disc brake got banged up so I bought a replacement through Amazon. Just a note: be careful when removing the screws which hold the disc brakes, they’re very prone to become round with the Allen key included in the tool kit. I had to order a special tool to get them off after this happened and I immediately replaced them with better quality ones. It seems the ones attached to the discs are not deep enough so the allen key slips off and makes them round instantly.
@@fcg243 thank you for sharing your experience. Specially about disc brakes screws.. pre fill your tires with Flat-out ..if you can..it will prevent damaging the rims.. when tire goes flat.. you will avoid the frustration of leaking air through the side of the tires. Making it seem like it won't pump air..
I sure will..thanks for thinking so. I will do a speed test up and down a hill .. and riding on dirt and update on the tires.. thanks again feels good to be liked ☺
@@budgetrydes4820 hi, how is this scooter? Feel sturdy? How smooth is the ride? I only have basic scooter and has hard tyres and no suspension. On smooth tarmac it’s fine but all other surface is really bumpy. I’m tempted to buy this scooter that you have but am unsure. How long does battery last? And is it smooth on bumpy road?
I wouldn't use slime.. take the time, fix tire correctly. (Also put Kevlar tape inside of the tire, ul never get a flat again.) Loved ur though review.
Cool Kevlar tape. Good idea 💡. Thanks for liking. I've been busy. I wish I have to make more videos. . I have more ideas just no time and space..... Ride safe and have fun
Thank you very much ! that makes me feel good and proud . I had fun making it . I moved upstairs small apartment and couldn't keep up with scooters for space , weight and time . Just doing simple esk8 build videos for now . Take care !
Definitely a well built mid-grade scooter. I wouldn’t jump curbs or ride down stairs with it but the suspension is definitely a +++ compared to other scooters. Has a lot of the features of the high priced scooters (horn, turn signals, front and rear suspension) just less power but enough power to be a fun and comfortable scooter. When mine arrived, the front steering mechanism was too tight. Difficult to keep it going straight. I sprayed a little WD40 on the front linkage. Problem solved!
@@carbrickscity no, just plain old WD40 in the blue and yellow spray can. Just a few squirts right where the connections are. I did that once 6 months ago. No problem ever since. When I first got it, it was almost impossible to go in a straight line. The steering linkage was binding (too tight maybe?). The WD40 did the job. Runs perfectly now.
I have the same problem, the scooter feels very unstable and hard to keep it straight and feels wobbling. See different opinions online regarding using regular WD40 vs white lithium grease. Glad to hear.
Congrats 👏.. when you see it for the first time. You will know you got your money worth. 😆. Not cheap looking.. it is sturdy. I've hit a rock 🪨 hard on the front wheel.. I thought it had to have broken . But just a ding on the rim . Good thing it was fully inflated.. order tire sealant.. prefilled before you ride.. buy a electric pump/twist cap .you will need it.
@@omarattia7555 So far, so good! If you buy one? Look at the tires and write the tire size down and look for where you can buy them. At 18 miles I got a flat. I used fix a flat and it's been holding. I ordered 2 extra tires from China. About 24 dollars for one tire. Good price. Right now the scooter has 66 miles. Been going good. The batteries or the motor have lost some power. Before I was able to hit 29mph. Now it only goes 24 to 25 with a long stretch. The seat post has a long screw that's used as a hinge. It fits wobbly. So I went to Home Depot and bought one that goes all the way through and holds the post tighter. It doesn't wobble anymore. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
@@omarattia7555 Re-read my post. I corrected the typos. Would I recommend it? Well, I just did a real life comparison with a guy who bought an Apollo. He paid 850.00. I paid 750 including tax. The foot board on mine was wider. His didn't have the key ignition. Mine did. His had 2 little headlights that were positioned on the front facing foot board. Mine had a big light on the front. His didn't have blinkers. Mine did. His didn't have the cool color lights below the unit. Mine did. His had smaller tires. Mine were 10 inch tires. All around, his was smaller. Oh, and hos didn't have a brake light. Mine did. And, in all actuality mine was bought for 700. In comparison, this one is the one to get. So I would recommend it at the cost per feature. And, going 20+ miles per hour is pretty quick. The smaller the scooter is, I would imagine the less stable it would be. I just wish that I could find knobbie tires for it. You know, like mountain bike tires. Not the same size, of course. But beefier tires. Haven't found any. Most scooters are full street tires. And to give you a better idea of the situation that I'm coning from. I'm 5'8" tall. About 200lbs. 54 yeears old. Now, one thing that was better on the Apollo. The attachment from the foot board to the steering/habdle bars. The main connection between the two parts where the bearings are. Thr Apollo had a full bicycle type connection with full bearings and housing like that of a bicycle. Mine had a smaller attachment. Much smaller, and it does wobble a little. With time, the wobble will get worse. The metal that is attached is some type of metal. I don't think it's made of steal, like that of a normal bicycle. It might be, but it doesn't feel like it. Feels like a lighter weight metal, like aluminum, but I'm sure it's not aluminum. I don't abuse mine. I'm 54. I just ride it. I think that there's a good chance that it will last with my type of riding. But if someone was jumping off of curbs, blah blah blah. I think that this attachment would get really worse. I cruise. I go fast at times. But I'm never jumping off of curbs. Too old for that.
Your welcome , glad you liked the video . It is exciting and fun to ride. Please comment again once you tried it . Your outdoor adventure awaits you. 😀

Great work on your videos!! I bought this scooter. I put a 52v 1000w controller along with a 18Ah 52v battery I get 35mph consistently and I weigh 245lbs all day long. Edited the technical abbreviations
Thank you very much! I think about this every day.. if a bigger battery would fit and if a different controller would work ? That's awesome. I will shop around to see what's available.. or if you have a link or a model # of the controller , that would be great 👍 😀 .

You can control those running lights for the colors, you have to take off the front plate on the front bottom side there's a white switch inside, I forget how many screws...for the money and quality this is the BEST scooter in its price range
Got it 👍.. I will add on update video. H5 has alot for the Price. Sure there are better, faster ..but you have to pay more than $599. I will set my LED'S to red and white slow pulse . What's your color and settings ?

Thx for the information I just bought 2 for my 2 kids and it was very good also my son’s scooter got a front tire flat so can you recommend what to do or what to buy to fix the flat?
Buy Flat-out if you can .I ordered mine just had to wait . Otherwise Slime can be bought easily at Walmart or auto zone if in a hurry.. Prefilled the other tires before they flat to prevent possible damage to the rim and avoid the frustration of not holding air . Buy a rechargeable electric air pump with the twist on cap.. easy ,convenient way to pump air.. 👍
I did a video on the led light changes and the modes underneath u have too remove the two screws I uploaded a video more to come I luv my evercross 800w electric scooter 🛴
I love your channel. I got this scooter this week and am having challenges keeping it balanced. I'm within the weight limit but this is my first scooter. I would appreciate any tips you have.
If feasible find a open parking area no traffic. Practice on 1st gear going on a straight path minimum turning, Practice stopping and going..Stay seated center your weight in middle of the scooter balance with both feet planted with equal weight like A tripod.. then start to put all your weight on the seat while lifting up your heels with equal height... pull the throttle slowly and start walking to the speed of the scooter while keeping your center of balance pick up speed and focus on balancing and when you feel balanced tuck in your feet together at the same time as you full throttle ..don't forget to smile.. then slow down and right before stopping equal set both feet out or 1 right before the other depending were you are leaning.. stop then start the process again learn to apply back brakes first then the front.. have fun . And if you haven't done so. Buy tire sealant and a rechargeable air pump with twist cap ..it's a must have to avoid the frustration of the dreaded Flats!
Congrats 👏on your purchase.. the kid in you is very happy 😊.. you will be able to enjoy the freedom of the outdoors and feel good about yourself.. you can walk along side your scooter to exercise and hop back on the moment you feel tired. Intermittent walking and scooten it's a win win..
I think you’re referring to the front fork. Out of the factory it’s very tight. Spray some WD40 on the steering linkage. Loosens it right up. I had the same problem
Just diagnosed the tire problem. When i try to put air in it , one small side of the tire blows ot out. I placed my hand on the other sides but feel nothing. I did your technique but i guess im not lucky cause its not working. At least the pump is doing its job
Your pump might not be enough.. you can buy one that plugs in a car that cost under $15.. Walmart, Ross, TJ max , DD's.. get the twist cap . Enjoy your tires before they turn solid 👌.. by the way was the tire off the ground when you were pumping air?
That's plenty fast enough for this scooter, most get around 15-18 mph, and that even fast enough as well. Easy to fall on one of these and any faster than 25 mph will have enough tumbling of body parts to give sufficient scuffs and rashes if you don't wear padding.
Yup I agree.. you have to factor in the worse scenario and be mindful of it . Know how well you can brake . It will determine how fast you can go safely. 😆 Check your tire pressure, it might be low? you should be going faster. And Prefill your tires with sealant If you haven't.. it will prevent damaging the rims .
Yes , you will have to tap the battery wires.. The battery bars is not accurate on our scooter.. the voltage should be.. make notes on your miles and voltage till empty.. you will get a better feel on how much you got left.
Thanks, it feels good to hear that 👍. It's amateurish and done on my Note 10 plus photo editor.. just having fun . But yeah, before I was not familiar with them either. From UK 🇬🇧 .. I think 🤔.
Neither had I..my search was for 600- 1000 watt scooter, within a certain price range. Evercross, just like Aovo, are frontrunners in their class of price, speed, construction, and overall value. Cheaper, and better than scooters 500 - 1000 watts, for various reasons...and yeah, BUDGETRYDES videos are a real asset to market reviews... This is as close to try before you buy as you can get
So the slime didnt work for me. Pumped up and started coming thru the puncture and got really bad leaking out when riding until the air started coming through. Might buy a new tire. Any idea what ince width the tire is? Is it 2.5 or wider? And its a 10 inch wheel presume. I couldnt find your plan b video bte
Can you show how to take the chair apart? That would make it easier because I've been looking at this scooter for a while now and willing to buy it. I just want to know if you can show how to manually remove the seat. Thanks for the video.
Congrats on your purchase 👏.. as long as the tires are fully inflated you should get around 15 miles of comfortable ride. Pre slime your tires and buy an electric pump with twist cap.. do not over tighten the stem clamp and avoid over extending up handles .. the base clamp can start break during ruff rides. Thus a video from a fellow rider showing his frustration.

I have bought the Evercross electric scooter and I accidentally mixed up all the P2-99 settings in the controller. Can you send me or tell me what are the default trigger accelerator controller settings?
Honestly, the scooter isn’t all that great, I had to add another battery pack, fix the suspension, the brakes on the scooter is horrible, I had to upgrade them to, I got 2 48volts battery’s on it . The grips that come with it is just ridiculous, once your hands are wet or sweaty you slipping. The stem isn’t really all that safe or good as well…. This scooter is ass, but on the other hand, it is a very good scooter for kids. The range says 20/25 miles I’m 140 pounds and the scooter was only getting 13 16 miles . Now that I added battery pack it goes about 45 miles or range. I would only say the scooter is good for the people who doesn’t want that super fast acceleration. and don’t wanna travel to far with it. Overall, I don’t believe a adult should be riding the scooter. I believe is more for like 16 year olds and up to 18… just my personal opinion now
Wow 45 miles that's awesome 👌. What a ride that was . Yes the grips are not as good I found that out after more riding longer and There no angle on the handles thus arms ache and feel uncomfortable on longer rides . YesI agree ,this is better suited for lighter riders . The suspension is short and bottoms out on bumpy roads or when going off curbs with heavier riders . This was good then for $599. There's better deals now with dual motors for $800 . Take care and ride safe.
Cool review it is a heavy duty body scooter for the price. Mine came in but the front wheel wasn't inflated I know they r tubeless tires it won't take the air when I try to inflate its not seating on the rim any suggestions. Thanks
Sorry I couldn't respond sooner 😅. You probably already fixed it.. I was going to suggest maybe wipe little a soap and water around rim tire . Then massage the tire in place as you pump air into it.
Does anyody have a link for the Replacement Rear Tyre? Or is this like my Nanrobot X4 where you have to buy the entire Motor where the rear tyre is already pre-attatched to the motor and it's one big secret?
How bad is the tire? Did you put enough slime? My front tire kept leaking air with 3 thorn holes. After adding more slime , it sealed the holes.. I also rub a bit of foam soap between the rim and tire .. if that don't work? use a tire plug.. I will show a video on that.. There's video on RU-vid on how to change a scooter tire.. to get a general idea.
@@budgetrydes4820 Sir the slime is it recommended only to tires with tube or also with tubeless, seems Hitway brand is tubeless. Mine broke and cost me 90€ to get new tire added tube. All is great now.

The other guy said he was able to put it on .. you are going to be second guy.. but I see now there's some great difficulties .. does the rim line up with the lip of the tire ? Were it would seal?
@@budgetrydes4820 it does but it seems the last layer of the tire wouldnt let the rim sit in. Guess i have a back up solid tire even though it cant really fit. Heres the link to see it on ebay , 10 Inch Electric Scooter Solid Tire 10*2.7-6.5 Explosion Proof Solid Tyre

Speed limit uk legal is 25 kmh or 15mph. Some good fetures on your scooter. I have a hitway h5 eb with full size 26 inch wheels. Im impressed with your top speed!
How do you use a clamp pump on the back tire? It wont even take in air(cant even pump it) it's like something is blocking it when I try to pump it... taking out the tiny valve to put in slime allows me to put in air but as soon as I release pump it deflates...
Yeah... I got the screw on pump and everything it still doesn't want to pump.... the front tire can pump just fine but the back on is being stupid... bought 3 different pumps all sorts of attachments and it still doesnt work... what a shame... I think I got a faulty tire on the back so I'm just gonna return it

Yes . Just slow down on turns.. no need to worry about damaging the rim cuz your getting solid. I've road 2 miles on back tire flat.. not on both tires though. @@budgetrydes4820 thanks, I see it on ebay and it's over $800 with no description as this evercross bike, I been looking around for my first scooter for me and my girl to cruise around instead of the car..I started researching from Glion , Hiboy..etc and been amazed at the power from the 800w in this one and I'm sold to get a pair from Amazon, takes a week through prime I believe, thank u all for the info and Godbless.
Yes , because I stopped riding it and got to electric skateboarding. Everything still works. Just have to out air in the tires . There is a better deal out there www.ebay.com/itm/Freego-EV-2000W-Folding-Electric-Scooter-10-inch-Off-Road-Dual-Motor-48V-20Ah-/393630633723?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 I have the money to Review this ...but I don't have the room anymore. Plus too heavy for me to take up 2nd floor apartment. 😪 I can imagine myself falling in love 🥰 with scooters again.
Can someone please help me. I’m trying to unfold my scooter so I can ride but it seems to be locked. How do I lift up the handlebars??? There’s a mega tight screw on side of folding but no matter how much I unscrew, I still can’t unfold scooter and I’m really getting pissed off. Help me my people 😪
@@budgetrydes4820 thank you. Do you by any chance know what the settings do in which order? I want to change a few settings like kick start and I want to make sure I’m not on lowest power mode but the manual has no info . Oh and do you know what setting for cruise control? Thank you.
