these are solid tires. no air, so no flats.

I've put about 1000 miles on mine and haven't had any issues riding on rough trails or in the city. I've run over glass, cans, and other nefarious litter a few times but never had a puncture because I filled both tires up with slime when I first got it. I'd highly recommend doing that before taking this scooter anywhere

Have to carry some just in case u use as regular repair as car tires ? Plug ? Can’t take chances especially while few miles away from house / I suggest if u can find they have solid tires with no holes to worry about bit more expensive but u never have to buy tires

@@makycaris4672 this is true, with solid tires you don't ever have to worry about flats. However, this scooter already has a less than desirable shock/suspension system especially in the front. Solid tires are heavier and generally make for a bumpier ride than air filled tires, and they also have less traction due to no deflation. Also, one thing I do one to point out is that even with solid tires you will eventually have to replace them. Same with air filled. This is because over time the tread pattern wears down regardless of the type of tire. Due to these reasons I personally would recommend folks to avoid solid tires unless they're very experienced riders and stick with air filled. It's definitely much cheaper and easier for a beginner to buy a $10 can of slime and fill both tires up than it is to buy 2 solid tires and change them. Once they're properly filled with slime there's very little chance of a puncture unless you hit something huge and sharp, and even then you should already be carrying around your spare tool kit so it isn't hard to throw a plug or two in there with it. It's definitely a subjective preference, but those are the main objective reasons why I prefer them air filled

Yes. I will when I get a chance.. buy I will tell you now.. I can put both feet down and keep the H5 from going when pulling the throttle. But the X4 will still take off..

​@@budgetrydes4820 It sucks that they limit the torque for acceleration on the H5. It should have enough power to flip the scooter over. That is how the guy from America Gots Talent broke his back. I can get mine up to 27MPH and I weigh over 200lbs but it accelerates so slowly. Other scooters will allow you to change this factory setting. I am still looking how to fix this issue.

@@Rachel-jm2yh exactly how I feel . This scooter should be more powerful but not. Though is better than others in some ways but it will leave you with wanting more.. more options now with dual motors bigger battery for $850 . I think over voltage is a faster solution to get more power. 52v external battery

@@Rachel-jm2yh it isn’t a limiter it is the type of motor, the motor is built for higher top speed, not torque.

What range do you usually experience with it? I've had mine for a lil over 3 weeks now and I've put 300 miles on it but I've never done a range test and killed the battery

I bought some look a like . But never installed them . It just needed to be adjusted at the caliper. . The extra battery I bought was cheaper not the exact size but same voltage thus the poor result. I don't recommend combining them together unless your un able to charge the extra battery separately. Easiest way is to buy a 48v battery with a charger. Extend the wires from the controller and battery out the deck so you can unplug the stock battery and plug in your external battery with ease.

Yes any "mah" you want , but... it's hard to find the right size that would replace tge stock. Therefore you will have to place it on the scooter. Extend the wires from the stock battery and controller out of the deck long enough for you to switch the external battery. Easily.

You can add without . It's better to extend the wires out of the deck and unplug the original and plug in the extra battery separately. No need to combine. They sell XT60 splitters and extensions on Amazon.

No need to solder . Get a splitter. Yes you can and put them together as long as the voltage is the same in both batteries.. fully charge both batteries separately. Then plug them one at a time first just to confirm they are close like one is 54,1v and the other is 54.4v then it's okay to combine or drain the other to match perfectly if you can . That's what I did . Look up other videos in how to add extra battery. To get comfortable in handling them . Understand what can cause failures to avoid them . Vibration is one of them. Good luck

Another way is to be able to unplug the original and plug to extra with ease.. either through a switch or longer wires extending out to access them .

@@lukasteigen4337 I combined 2 differtent batteries in capacity but same voltage 48v . Not recommended. It's better to unplug the original and plug in the extra and also charge it separately.. you can achieve this by cutting a hole in the plastic cover on the front deck . And get a long extension wire with a XT60 connector and have it long enough to where you can unplug it and plug in the extra battery. I'm been so busy with other projects. @Budgetrydes could you perhaps write a guide on how to install the extra battery? I have two batteries and it would help a lot if you could make a guide. Like what cables I should get and how they should be used.

For battery installation just extend your xt60 cable from control all the way out and your battery cable as well extend it I have a video but it only shows both connection outside of the scooter and a third motor

@@budgetrydes4820 it does matter a 10ah or 10000mah battery has less cells then a 14ah 14000mah battery therefore the 10ah is a smaller battery. I am just getting into escooters but our Shop has been building custom ebike and fixing them for over 8 years. So I was hoping someone could tell me if a larger battery would fit. If not may go with the 25mph Joyor 800 that gets 49 miles per charge. But I really like the design of that scooter.......thanks for resopnding.

Check charging port, Clean with a brush or cotton swab . It not buy a new charger? I keep a USB fan on mines each time I charge it to make it last.

My first evercross didn't charge either. I didn't realize until the next day. I told Amazon via chat and they got me a replacement scooter. No problems with the replacement. The seat spring seems better than the first one too so that's a plus.

Retap is what I suggest too.

Just ride with no seat, it’s more fun. I lost mine and I installed a metal stick when I want to use seat but never do

I've put about 1000 miles on mine and my gf has about the same on hers. Neither of us has ever had a flat so I can't tell you about changing the rear tire or solid tires. What I can tell you is that these air tires work great and can take quite a beating as long as you fill them up properly with slime when you first get them

It's supposed to make sound when you turn on the signal.. there's no on or off for the beeping sound. Yours is not working. Maybe a loose wire ?

I believe the new version after 2021 doesn’t have the sound. Mine is brand new and doesn’t make the turn signal sound too

Yes if you don't mind the weight. I like my xiaomi with solid tires and with movable seat . Lightweight fast enough far enough. But I can go all day riding with the Evercross. You get better features for a little but more. For mostly flat areas. Lacks power going up hills. Get the dual motor and double the battery capacity for around $800 . This was going to be my next scooter when I move downstairs.

I bought mine on ebay. Buy a better brand. This one sucks.

You have to insulated yourself to protect from shock and vibration . Get creative. Don't combine the batteries like I did use them separately. Extend the battery and controller wires out if the deck . so you easily unplug the stock battery and connect the extra battery

I get about 18miles per charge. Sometimes a little more.

@@taurtis5508 well, it’s a great value e scooter. I paid £414 in sale and usually £500 or about $600. Oh, I’m quite light at about 9 stone, not sure what it is in lbs . If you weigh more, you may only get about 20mph but I personally often ride at 18-20mph and for a scooter for shorter journeys, it’s fine. Plus, most regular roads are 20mph in London. So no point buying 1 that goes 60mph. Oh 1 thing I should mention, the brakes don’t seem great. Like takes longer to stop and sometimes skids. I don’t use it much anymore but if I start using more, I’m deff going to get them checked out and possibly replace, if not able to fix. I’m useless when it comes to stuff like this.

Not enough air in the tires can affect your speed.. 23mph is about its average top speed I get on flat surface.

Up to 315 now lol I've had them pop twice from hitting bumps going too fast but they air back up just fine its only the seal that pops. And as far as speed, the speedometer matches my phones gps speed but maybe they both could be off a little bit

Yes , it's fast , just need room to get it going. This could have been better with a stronger controller and bigger battery . Pretty much sacrificed the torque for high end speed for safety and the cost.. . I get it ..... But ! Evercross sold alot of these scooters and sadly they did not improve their customer service and available parts ! They could have come out with the H5 Pro with the higher amp controller, a 20mah battery and replace the weak bolts where their being broken . Then they would have made more money and win back the hearts of everyone they Evercrossed!

You can get these numbers with riding around 12-13mph even on the 3rd speed setting as long as you don't accelerate too fast. The problem is people on bicycles will be going as fast as you and it'll make you feel like you want something quicker. I put about 1000 miles on mine and found a 60v27ah T88 to upgrade to for $999. Waiting for it to come in now but hoping I'll be able to have trips like this and not move slow as molasses just to extend the mileage

It was a cheap battery. Only got 5 extra miles.. buy a 20mah. Battery. And rig it were you can unplug stock battery and plug the external. Instead of combining them like I did . It safer that way. Get extention wires with the XT60 connectors. They sell them on eBay or Amazon.

That sucks!! Seems like to switch or wires for the horn is stuck on on... contact the seller.. for replacement.. and try to take it apart if you can ? My horn button is springy. Please let me know what the seller says or do. I want to know if there customers services has improved or no help at all ?
