We hope your trek inspires many more to embark on this remarkable odyssey in the future. The adventure awaits you all!
Thank you so much! haha it was an exciting day and the most tiring day for me, bravo to my super guide that helped me a lot~! Thx god the snow a day earlier is not heavy, otherwise it will be tougher to cross chola if the snow is thick. but yeah, the view is no joke, spectacular 😍
Hi Ginka, thanks for watching! so happy that you enjoy my videos clockwise u will get less crowd at earlier part of the trek, and counter clockwise you get the quieter moments towards end of the trek. i wish you for a great hike!
Hi Wen Wen, thanks for watching! I did standby with Diamox but didn’t use it because my guide told me only take when have some small symptoms. (Which they will help you to evaluate too every night before rest, sometime they might advise to take half if the symptoms are not serious) I went alone, so I don’t have a group. But I do encountered some trekkers that have altitude sickness. It’s hard to tell from a person fitness level, you will only know when you get there. So yeah, pls standby the medication just in case.
@@LanceTangHiking Thank you very much , do you have any difficulty wearing trial run shoes ( ohhh i wish i wear the mountain boot ) during the whole ebc + gokyo trek ? how about the drinking water ? what time did you start the the trek and arrive at dzonglha ?
@@wenwen1518 in fact the shoes i was wearing were trail run/hiking shoes, i didnt go with boots as i feel more comfy with shoes haha. but i guess is up to own preference. boot has better protection to the ankle, also more covered hence not so exposed to cold wind. drinking water im using the filtered bottle for my drinking water. also may get mineral water sold there. for this day, Thagnak to Dzongla, i started 530am, reached around 12pm noon
@@LanceTangHiking Thank you so much for your info ❤❤❤❤, waiting for you next video , i might learn a thing or two, planning to visit in this late september 😊
@@wenwen1518 no problem! Always happy to share and learn together. haha hopefully my then my packing video is up too! Will be sharing more packing tips in that video 😁
Hi Lance, I have just watched your video and noticed that we are in your video, on top of Cho La Pass! My friend Elvis is wearing a dark red down jacket and i am wearing a brown one. That was the best day of the whole adventure. We are from California in the San Francisco Bay Area. What part of Malaysia are you from? I have been to Penang many times. Anyway, we also stayed at the same teahouse in Dzongla. You also captured one of the best climbers in the world in that place. Do you have a WhatsApp account? Richard Cliff
Hey there! Thanks for watching and I saw you and your friend in my video with your descriptions! Hahaha what a coincident and surprise u can still come across this video. I’m based in Kuala Lumpur capital of Malaysia most of the time. Of course I have WhatsApp too! Maybe we can connect in instagram @lancetang and I can share you my WA there cheers 🍻
@@LanceTangHiking not surprisingly when I went back to look at my footage I found you in a bunch of my video too. I am just in the process of editing mine now. Got a bit backlogged with other projects. I don’t have an instagram but am interested in what other hikes you have done. My wife and I did the Camino de Santiago in Spain last October. I have watched some of your other videos. We live near San Francisco.
