I did one in 2017 on my own, had a mate come and join for the last few reps to make sure I wasn’t going to die😂 I had all the data on my Garmin all day, I think your way is better because the math was doing my head in fro 6000 meters onward. 4 am start, finished at 8, 13 hours riding time. Didn’t shift gears all day😂 smallest, even on the downs getting up to 75 just rolling. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to try it,but I’m so happy I’ve done it. Broken for quite a few days afterwards.

What a great support crew. They all know something about great physical efforts, but all stand in awe of Francis. As do we. I can never get enough of Jimmi and Emily, but this time, the Daisy cam was really great. You can tell how proud she is of him, and how pleased she is to be part of the effort. Great stuff.

Epic ride! Everesting is a killer, can't imagine with a BMX I did my first everesting last week on Alpe du Zwift, hard as hell but the satisfaction at the end is unbelievable!

I watched the intro, heard the plan .... and haven’t even got as far as seeing the results ... I say this now because at that point, I immediately said “ you are sh#tting me” So we go from here, now i watch ... ..... OK ..... I’ve watched you and mates cross continents, I’ve watched you and your friends do incredible and generous things, I’ve watched a lot. But this is possibly the hardest thing I’ve seen in all. Bloody hell. There’s only one understated word for that ... Chapeau (like carmen mirranda size one) Incredible ... oh to be young and even more daft again .... I’d have been there, passed you a bagel and watched but if I’d set off on that at your age, I’d still be finishing now .... if only ... Well done doesn’t cut it but it’s all I have

Thanks, Francis, get up and get down, get up and get down on a 20" bike, the GOAT for many of us and I am forever thankful that I grew up on a Schwinn Sting-Ray. And, sniffle sniffle, I still can't believe I left it in the community storage room of an apartment building in Frankfurt when I returned to the States after graduating from Frankfurt American High School in '77. That was dumb. But at least I show my love for that bike in my little thumbnail. And I do hope some kid was happy to find it all those years ago, like, whoa, a Sting-Ray!
