This is a 48" Evergo ceiling fan, model number 4E-3LWSBS, in an Antique Brass finish and is most likely from the late 1970's - early 1980's. The fan features a unique on/off pull chain switch where the first pull runs the fan in downdraft and the second pull reverses the fan into updraft. A variable speed control knob on the switch housing is used to adjust the speed of the fan. This spinner-style ceiling fan is truly a relic of an era when designs like this were offered by several overseas manufacturers. What makes this fan stand out is certainly the unique blade shape that Evergo used on several of their fans and subsidiary labels such as Leslie Locke and Union. Overall this fan performs well but I really have to give credit to how solidly built and well made this model is. Aside from some scuffs and minor wobble this fan is in near mint condition for its age!

You should tour your entire fan collection, i think it would be cool to see all of your rare gems that you have.

Now I’m not gonna lie these evergo unions are straight up powerhouses these were well built fans plus what I like about this one is the blade shape and the blade badges remind me of horseshoes…there was an antique store that I visited in Maryland that had 3 of these in the store there they were installed way up in the ceiling but felt the airflow on all of them quite well despite how high up they were

Nice! Though I feel like slowest speed could be a little slower if it has a trim pot.

Unfortunately it doesn’t have that aesthetic low but any variable speed control is still a cool feature.

@@CeilingFanCentral Yeah did you find a trim pot? I know some controls can spin a bit too fast on low even if it has a trim pot that’s set to lowest setting. I have a toggle solid state speed control that’s made around 1980 which has a trim pot but wasn’t easy to get access to, and when I tested it on Emerson Heat Fan from Peabody Museum of Natural History, minimum speed was more like normal low even with the trim pot on lowest setting.
