Currently I’m using this bag for one month vacation, 2 weeks till now, as one bag travel, my organisation as follow: . Main compartment: 2 peak design packing cubes + peak design wash pouch . Enternal and external pockets: Electronics, cables and random stuff, did it with meticulous mental organisation “as you called it. . Laptop compartment: iPad air and some documents Note: After putting all peak design cubes & pouch, there is some space left at the edges, helpful to put some soft stuff for quick access Overall: Perfection at it’s best, reminds me of Apple products and similar brands: complexity with simplicity. only minor complaints: 1. The handle/grab is very stiff, needed to change the bag from one hand to another after few minutes of carrying it by hand. 2. Still the material can attract lots of dust and hair, but at the same time it’s very easy and quick to clean.

Which size are the peak design packing cubes you are using?. I want to know if it can fit a medium and a small peak design packing cube as well as the wash pouch

This bag is heavenly! It's my main EDC, and I absolutely love it. My one and only complaint is the fact that it does make me sweat a lot if I'm out walking with it, which can suck if I'm going to a meeting or to teach, but at the same time, I understand that it keeps the aesthetic of the bag very clean. But it's not the world's biggest deal, I think. I absolutely love this bag, and I couldn't recommend it more to people looking for a big EDC or for the perfect travel bag.

Been using the CPL 28 v2 for about 4 weeks now, traveling/working from the Canary Islands and it’s the perfect hybrid between an EDC and a Travel Pack. What I didn’t expect nor I didn’t want to be the case, but I actually PREFER this to my EDC (boundary supply errant) and travel Pack (Aer Travel pack 2 x-pac)

Thanks for sharing your experience with us, Nick! We're so glad that this pack is working well for you. It sounds like you've really been able to put it to the test using it as a travel pack and an EDC bag. 🙌 - Rebecca

Do the shoulder straps tuck away? Still like it more than the others?

Hi Nick! I also use the Errant as my EDC bag atm, looking into the CPL 24 or 28. Does the 28 fit noticeably more than the Errant?

Great review! We'd love to see how Pack Hacker kits out the CPL 28L for minimal one bag travel, and whether it plays nice with packing cubes. Cheers!

I agree about sleek design (love the EG aesthetic). But as a shorter human, I need lifters and more strap to get the bag to sit high enough and out of the crook of my back to prevent digging (I need lifters on all their bags).

I’ve always wanted to try one of their bags, but I feel like the front side zipper is for lefties. The zipper should be on the other side! Or make it dual access from left or right shoulder.
@patriark
@patriark 3 года назад
It's designed so that you can access the front pocket with your right hand. Definitely intentionally designed for right handers, although a lot of people have a different habit of which side they flick off the bag from. I feel this bag is perfectly designed, as the v1 already was quite close to perfect.

Awesome video! Are you going to review the newer version? I think they changed the part on the back, and added mesh to it so it should be more breathable.

Is there a noticable size difference when using this vs the CPL24? I have the 24 v1 and it feels just a tad smaller than I'd like. I'm wondering if the CPL28 is a worthwhile upgrade without feeling substantially larger in everyday carry.
@colinmsmall
@colinmsmall 3 года назад
@@seantang89 I ended up getting the CPL24 v2 also. At the last minute I felt that the 28 might be too large so I stuck with the 24. I'm glad I did.

recommendation for college student? organization, light, great straps to distribute weight and heat, water bottle on exterior, 15" laptop are the needs I would think. Ever heard of Tough Traveler?

Does the black fabric lose color after some time? I've seen some older goruck gr1 models look less black over time, I remember Tom mentioned the same in a video, and I wanted ask if you've noticed that with the Evergoods v1 as well and if you think the same would happen with the v2? I love the aesthetic of the 24l v2 bag, plus it fixes all my issues with the v1 but I might wait for the grey version because I think that might age better than the black.

Hi there. Thanks for the review. How tall are the two 360 degree testers in the beginning of the video? I'm debating whether to get the 24l or the 28l. I'm 5'10 with a small frame.

I think you are at a sweet spot where you can get away with either. The CPL28 is 1 inch taller and 0.5 inch wider then the CPL24. If you like a streamlined look, don't carry much on the daily, then go with CPL24. If you carry a bit more daily, like one bag travel, and don't mind the turtle shell look, then go with CPL28. I am 5"9 and I have the CPL28. The look is perfect for me because I don't mind a slightly larger looking bag. The bottom of the bag digs into my back a bit, so I have stuffed a table cloth in the lower back region behind the frame sheet to prevent to give it lumbar support, which it does wonderfully.

Is the internal document sleeve suspended? I am thinking about putting my 12,9 iPad Pro since I carry both, the laptop and iPad. Would it be the best place for it or you’d rather place it in the other half of the laptop compartment? Also what about using it for minimal travel? Could you fit peak design packing cubes plus some minimal Dopp kit? Thank you !
