Just got an Evergoods Civic Panel Loader 24 in a few days ago, and here's a video with my first impressions review.
Also, I've gotten a bit of feedback recently that I'd benefit from purchasing a mic, so I'd definitely be interested in getting some suggestions if any of you have a model you like.

thanks for the tip on how to removing the sternum strap, I was having a hard time removing mine on MPL V2 😁

Great in-depth review! Will you be reviewing the CPL 28L too? I bet it’s great for minimal travel.

I don’t think I’m gonna be purchasing a cpl28 outright, just because it’s another $200. If somebody wanted to trade theirs for my cpl24v2, I’d probably do that, though.

Same here. I bought cpl 28. The bottom of the edge of the bag is digging into my lower back. Don’t understand why the designers leave it like that.

Great video! I've been really wavering between the CPL 24 and the Synik. Do you feel like it is more comparable in size to the Synik 22 or 30? Also, I find the depth of this bag interesting. Do you ever feel like it juts out too far from your back? I think I'd be even more in if this bag wasn't a lint magnet considering I have furry dogs too lol

I’m a big fan of the Synik. I don’t know whether it’s necessary closer to the 22 or the 30 exactly, but I tend to use a 22 for edc with plenty of room.

Great review! I appreciate your thoroughness. I noticed in a previous video you had a goruck gr1 21L. Do you prefer the 26L or 21L for EDC? Just curious because I’m the same height as you and trying to decide between the two sizes.

For edc, I prefer the 21l version of the gr1.

It’s really a subjective matter. Is the extra organization worth a few hundred dollars for you? The v1 is still a great bag, but the v2 is much better for me.

It will for most airlines, but it may not fit in a spirit airlines sizer

Thanks for the video. How tall are you? The one thing that’s held me back from an Evergoods bag is people talking about the bottom edge digging into their backs. (I’m 6’4”)

I’m 5’9”. I’ve heard that it’s something that can be worse for taller people.

For me, I prefer the way the Gr1 feels on my back. Whether the 21l Gr1 works really depends on what you pack. I've gotten by a weekend on the 21l gr1, but I packed light.

Hi, how do you find the tombihn HLT attached inside? Good fit? What would be extra accessories need to attach the HLT in? Thanks

The HLT comes with the two double swivel carabiners. Those fit it in here as well as they would in any bag.

They’re both pretty different bags despite their clamshells. If I had to choose one, I’d probably get a Synik because I love the organization style and centered water bottle pocket.

Main reason is because somebody was selling one of these used so I bought it off them at an agreeable price. No decision was made other than that.

The main difference is the additional organization in the front pocket and the quick access. I upgraded, but worth is up to you

Dude you had to nitpick the zipper getting caught??? 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ The bag is superior for durability so your not supposed to be gentle with it! There are number 8 and 10 YKK RC zips with a dwr finish!!!

Of the many bags I’ve used, I haven’t encountered that anywhere near as frequently than with this bag.
