The voices you hear belong to Lisa Lougheed and Curtis King, Jr. I have no idea who is on the instruments. I do not own this song. I do not own this cartoon. But, this cartoon owns.
Love the show's soundtrack. I remember they even used a piano instrumental of this as BGM for some later episodes. I like it when shows reference it's own songs like that. You don't see many kids/family shows like that anymore with soundtracks as cool as this.
It's amazing that a kids cartoon could produce such amazing power ballads. These songs would of suited something like Transformers but there absolutaley beautiful and they make 'The Raccoons' memorable for anyone who was akid in the 80's (like me).
Okay, we seriously need an AI version with Len Carlson as Bert replacing the male vocals for this, Bert and Lisa actually singing this would be perfection! Someone please make it happen! AI technology is amazing! Do it!
Apparently there was talk of it (They promoted it on one of the VHS tapes for the show) but so far only Vinyl and Cassette have been pulled up. If the CD DID exist, it's probably harder to find than Bobby Brown's King of Stage album!
Where can I download the album? It isn't on itunes nor Amazon and the only site I could find that offered it for download not only had a dead link full of malicious popup tabs but simply opening the page triggered web attacks that were immediately blocked by my anti-virus. Said malware infested website in question is "the isle of deserted pop stars blogspot" in case anyone tries to look for a suitable free download (free so I don't have to sign up for a music selling site I will never use).
