No doubt I heard this song when I was younger and didn’t remember it, but about 14 years ago I was in Iraq, Everlast played live for us. This song has stayed with me ever since.
@@neemaf829 that's really the only everlast song i ever heard from early 2000s in high school until slow your roll came out.... Bought 5 of his albums since then...
Such an underrated song and movie. It has to be Arnold’s most serious film. I saw some ppl say it’s corny and silly but it couldn’t be farther from the truth. It’s unbelievable that the song wasn’t even used in the end credits. An excellent movie. I highly recommend. Deff in my top 10
Yes theybare.i heard the exact same words from my son, after he burned our home down( killing our dogs and nearly killing 5 people in process)..this song almost could be about him except his weapon was fire and a knife
Love Everlast! Thank You for the great music which has been soundtrack to our lives since middle school. I ran w the baby in the backpack the day whitey ford sings the blues cane out..went to the record shoppe and blasted this for years. My upstairs neighbor was some kinda political op from Ireland and absolutely loved hearing the songs so i gave him my album when he moved back to Cork. MAXIMUM RESPECT TO EVERLAST!
Can really relate to this one, Eric...crying..my son serving time in prison for arson,5 counts attempted murder..(for our fam. Members and new grandson,we were all in the house..)got out, thank God but as u might imagine, not without alot of serious emotional pain.still have nightmares, about 10 yrs later..this almost could be his story.
The really peculiar thing is, this music kinda did some medical effect on me. I've been feeling sick with some really hard stomach aches in the last months, and when I listen to Everlast I stop feeling the pain 😯
He wrote this right before Columbine and since it was about basically the same thing he didn’t release it at first. He wrote it with Nine inch Nails homie…Badass song🔥
I remember reading an interview with him right after Columbine where he said he recorded the song earlier and that he was now never going to release it. Less than a year later he put it on this soundtrack, lol
Truth. Those who steal from all of us put us in these situations. It's pure survival and preemptive survival. Lived that as Irish. From day ur born..all Irish/Celtic know this. You leave the game but your people. Thank you Whitey. Get everything the handle means. In Canada here. Irish is not a place it's much much more than that and I honor you as we do. Just offering you that particular sound of the pint glass we all know when glasses meet right. All the best brother.
You got that right I got the soundtrack and the movie on blu ray I just wish they made the 4K to this movie this movie would been amazing in 4K especially seeing the Devil 👿 in 4K at the end of the movie
Been my all time fav song since '99 Still the best ever.. This song so real and so deep. Listen to it. It's almost like he wrote the school shooter diary before there was a school shooter.. Columbine tragically occurs just shortly after.. And no one listened or connected the dots. Everytime someone asks me my fav song and I say it's always been So Long.. They just blankly stare.. What's so long? 🤦
Well it's whenever is my number it will be God's time to take me to heaven I know some days anyone can feel pain at the end of the day but at the same time tho nobody knows what I been go through and I may not know what everyone else is going through I know I mistakes and I hope God can forgive me thanks Everlast
I'm was 18 years old,I'm Hungarian. So when I heard first time on mtv come from Germany a signal!!than I know I come to USA because is I want a meet a white blues. Thanks for Everlest.
