The extra bass adds so much to the song! I never realised that Nate’s lines were so melodic because you don’t really hear the bass in any Foo’s songs, I guess he’s competing against a lot of other instruments, but this baseline is incredible! It’s so damn low and funky!!!

Very nice cover! The fill ins sounds cool, also can't help but notice how fast your plucking fingers are - as opposed to being supposedly played with a pick.

Was that a request or a personal favourite? Obviously, a classic-- just a really well-written song. You just look as if you are having so much fun playing it. To be honest, I've listened to that song since it came out (~20 years) and never really noticed the bass part. It just looks like a blast to play. Thanks!

Great question! Although these are covers, I do like to add my own style into them. I added a bit more into this bass line, and felt that I could connect better with it in finger style. Plus I just really loved my tone with this bass for this specific song! I consider which bass to play by thinking of what tone I am after :D
