This was my teenage years!! These were the people who entertained us. The Everly Brothers were and will always be phenomenal. Soundtrack of my youth 🎼🖤
thank you eric tielman , like every body else here in Melbourne Australia , I was the everly's greatest fan . I,m loving your video's mate . thanks , tony lee
Great vintage videos of the Everly Bros., but the cream of the crop was the Everly's dancing to "What I'd Say" with Roy Orbison doing the vocal. I'm sure that they enjoyed the heck out of dancing in addition to doing backup to Roy Orbison. What a treat, thanks Erik!
My favorite video is from Shindig. The had a sing off with Gerry and the Pacemakers. Gerry hit Don in the nose with his guitar and Don had a bloody nose!! Phil was laughing but then playfully tried to bully Gerry.
WOW.......Some great stuff.......They are one class act.......thank you Don and Phil (RIP) for sharing your music, your style, and your talent with us for all these years.......4 Ever 4 Everly.......Thank you Erik for posting this......
@Jennie Many fell in love while listening to their music, I'm sure.. they were great have you heard Sonny Curtis versiion of "Walk Right Back"? It has an added verse that makes the song even better! Check it out!
I Love the harmony of their voices, I have never seen another couple of singers like them. Long life to the Everly Brothers, in spite of the inexorable time. Greetings to all american music lovers.
Hola Pablo, I agree. . . The Everly Brothers are absolutely outstanding. Sadly Don passed August 21, 2021 and Phil passed January 2014, they are sadly missed but their music will last for ever for all Generations. Stay safe, healthy and happy, God bless. Greetings from Texas, USA
I do believe the bye bye love vid was my first exposure to EB when Don slung that guitar down , his patent move I was immediately hooked. I thought it was the coolest thing to this young lad at the time.
I saw them twice, once a part of a rock n roll revue show with other greats and lastly performing in an intimate venue with only 2 headliners, (the other Brazil 77) right before they broke up in late '73. Always great entertainers, maintaining their voices.
I remember being 5 yrs old, walking hand in hand with my best friend while singing Dream, Dream, Dream by the Everly Brothers. I am now 70 and I still love the Everly's as much as I did then. When I'm ready for that malt shop in the sky, they will be my first request. :o)
What are we going to tell our friends when they say "Ooh-la-la"? When the Everly's sang "Dream" in 1983 when I saw them, everyone screamed just as loud as when they did on this video.
