In January 1970 the Everlys performed for the very 1st time on the Johnny Cash Show. And it wouldn't be their last time. Johnny was so impressed by their stage presence that he even offered them his own summer replacement show that same year !

It was a couple of years after this when I saw them play live for the first time. It was at the Palomino in L.A. and they were so charismatic, you could feel it at the back of the club where I was sitting. They were dressed more casually than here - I think I remember Don had on his fringed leather jacket. I'd been a fan since I was 7 or 8, but I had no idea how electric they would be in person.

Könmte das bei Don eine Perücke sein? Er hatte zwar schöne Haare aber so ein bischen sieht es bei Don doch so aus.😅 Viellwichrnhat er doch so eine Frisur nicht soi richtig hinbekommen
