I am so very, very proud these boys are from Shenandoah, Iowa!!! Not even an hour from where live! Love these boys and may they rest in peace. Hopefully.......they are singing in Heaven and looking down at their old hometown of Shenandoah, Iowa!! Much love to them and their families and friends!

They got their start in music in Shenandoah IA, not KY.

@@cathrinecolwell3303 they ARE FROM KENTUCKY. My great grandma and Margaret were 1st cousins I grew up around them saw them at least once a year at family reunions. So I know better than you 😂

@@ashleyphillips131 - So much of what I love about the Everly family is their hardscrabble, never-give-up, keep-it-movin' life. Brownie, Central City and Muhlenberg County Kentucky can claim a little piece of them, and so can Shenandoah, Iowa and Chicago, Illinois. They are the heart of the Heartland and the salt of the earth. And that's why we ALL love them! 😙🤗

Does anyone know what recording of wake up little susie that is starting at 3:34? It´s certainly not the original studio recording, could it be the 1964 re-recording for the "The very best of the Everly Brothers" album?
