Evernew Ti Solo Pot Set and Snow Peak Ti Trek 700 

That's strange, because I've just bought the 750ml pot and the Windmaster DOES fit perfectly, you just have to tilt it slightly :)

@@expeddoctor5754 You're Welcome. Good news is, there are a couple of lid alternatives out there for the 700. There's a site called Four dog stoves. Makes replacement titanium lids for the 700, and other Snow Peak pots. Lids have wide, somewhat low wooden knobs. You can get the lids with or without strainer holes. Just keep in mind it's basically a one-man custom shop. And finding the page where you can order the lids is ironically hidden on his site for some odd reason. Also, I've heard but not tried it myself. The Jet-boil stock plastic lid for their basic model will fit over the top of the 700. It might be possible to order a replacement lid by itself. Though you do get the typical disadvantages of using a tight fit plastic lid while boiling water. Still better than the stock 700 lid. Awhile back I contacted Snow Peak and got a reply from them. For some odd reason, their stock lid for their 700 is made from a combination of titanium and stainless steel. They confirmed it.

NGMonocrom I’ll definitely have to check them out. My snowpeak is now just my lender set up for when friends need to borrow gear but it would be great to help them out with a better lid. And I tried the jetboil lid mod. Sadly, I learned that if you’re using a wider burner head (eg msr pocket rocket deluxe), even on medium-low the lid can melt.

@@expeddoctor5754 Thank you for the heads-up regarding the Jet-boil lid. So apparently it fits, but with some burners can melt. Sorry to hear that. I hope the lid is at least still usable for you.

Are you going to put this pretty Evernew pot onto a fire? I know I’m not. Soot from an alcohol burner? Maybe, but just put a drop of water into the alcohol it will not produce soot then. If there was a layer of soot on the pot and you stacked it, how could you not transfer soot? I love the Snow peak 700, but never bought one. I bought the Evernew, which is overpriced but works. I like it.

Only the 110g canister will. One in the cup or two in the pot.

@@raczyk it's cheaper but of course the bigger canister you buy the cheaper per gram it ends up costing. I buy the 450g ones and refill the 110g with a transfer valve.

@@OverThePeaks Sweet idea. When you do the transfer, is there any left in the 450g. I'm not sure how it works, but if there is not enough pressure in the 450g it will remain in the 450g and not transfer to the 110g?
