I thought that I was subscribed to your channel since last year but when I checked to see why you weren't posting anything new, I saw that not only was I not subscribed but that I missed a truckload of new material from you. Thank you for doing what you do!
Hi Scott, Thanks for this video. I'm fairly new to Evernote and really like it, but hadn't figured out how to get something from my email into Evernote. Now I know! Thanks so much. I think I need to watch the rest of your videos so I can learn more about Evernote.
You are so welcome! I just created an email list sign up. Also be sure to check out the new video I just published! In that video I created a way so that what you described never happens again! Enjoy!
Sorry to ask, but where is the point? You can make categories in gmail to? I don't understand why I sould clutter my evernote if I can categorize email directly gmail
I want to do the same thing but on ios there is a app called shortcuts and I’m trying to have it save emails from selected people in different folders in Evernote.. but can’t figure it out
Hi Scott, great videos. The funnel video is great along with the email management. I handle both sales and project management. Do you have ideas on how to keep track of project management notes? For example after the project is closed, many emails will arrive from the client, architects , interior designers, and builders, I work with in my industry. I currently tag all clients names. I use a tag based system. How can I combine your funnel video, email management, and most importantly project management ?
Those are some great questions Abe. I am not 100% sure how I would do it right now. If you are interested, I just started doing coaching sessions with people. If you are interested just send me an email evernotescott [at] gmail [dot] com.
Hi Scott. I am a power gmail user. I like the idea of Evernote but I really cannot see a compelling reason to start duplicating my gmail in Evernote. Why would I send email from gmail, a powerful search tool, to my Evernote. Your video fails to mention the massive archive storage in gmail for example. You only refer to deleting email. Would welcome your thoughts.
Robert - great point! I don't use gmail, so that is how I came up with this system for myself. The best part about Evernote is that you can use it in any way that serves you. Because Gmail helps you keep everything organized, you are right. It may not be necessary to send stuff from gmail into Evernote. It really depends on how you want to use it.
