when you want an assassin that uses "stealth is optional" and "how can anyone tell what had happened if everyone is dead". oh yeah, said assassin also happens to be a walking bomb
Book of Choyer is just the best Warhammer channel there is. The work, the dedication the awesome af narration - is this a professional outlet of GW? If not, they are missing out on their main marketing channel - you are all out selling this lore - AMAZING
100 killed nearly 1000 space marines leaving only 1 to kill the master of assassins. they are very much feard by all. but then they are far less useful that a space marine.
Beast Krule was my favorite assassin....saved the imperium twice. Gave Vulcan and marines the way to draw out and defeat the Beast ork. Then he killed Vangorich instead of the last imperial fist...after being forcibly turned into an eversor assassin. Then he retired to emperor knows where. To recognize Maximus Thaine and save him going against his program is cool af. Beast Krule was next level.
@safetythirdified the beast arises series 9 part 32nd millenia ork war. It's not great writing but it has its moments. A chapter of crimson fists fight with a war band of iron warriors. The black Templar high Marshall was not happy about that. So lots of cool lore.
So when all the assassins were deployed together they just killed each other? They cant even tell friend from foe? How can they reason enough to pick a toxic dart vs a bolter? Heck if they’re that crazed, how do they even know how to reload? The level of ludicrousness is very 40k and I love it.
Eversors also tend to explode when they are fatally wounded. the combination of combat drugs and chemicals is highly unstable, but the Eversor can keep them in balance. But only whil he lives. If he dies then he goes booom! I think it was akin to a plasma grenade going off in 2nd edition. Also: One of the proposed plans to assassinate Horus was to send every single Eversor at him at the same time. Every. Single. One.
Man, you guys never disappoint!! Just listening to the video is so knowledgeable and rewarding. I thought the fantasy part of Warhammer was enough for me..man..now you got me interested! ❤❤❤😂😂 please keep up the wonderful work you guys put in to this channel.
I love how much I have learned about Warhammer from this channel! Both Old World and 40k! I use to know NOTHING about Warhammer. Your videos are the BEST videos I have seen on RU-vid regarding to Warhammer!
I can see every single Assassins clave playing well with the others and even complimenting eachother. The Eversors are just a Leeroy Jenkins to any assassination plan.
I've always kind of thought the Eversor was based on US Marines. They don't really use much in the way of tactics but sometimes one really does need a sledge hammer to swat a fly.
"Behold the titan! Hear its deafening horns and feel the earth shake as it walks and behold its bursting cannons. Have you ever seen a better embodiment of the god - emperor's wrath?" Eversor: "Somebody called my name?"
They stop at nothing and ignore wounds, are equipped with the deadliest weapons and become the Emperors wrath... haven't I heard something similar somewhere? ;-) But now to the million dollar question: Eversor assasin vs. (Traitor) Space Marine - who wins?
Easily the Eversor. You can read about it. Attention spoilers: There is a short story "Iron Warrior" where some Astartes of a Traitor Warband gets destroyed by an Eversor Assassin. Also look up the "Garantine" from the Horus Heresy Book "Nemesis" who killed some Sons of Horus in Battle. One exception was Gabriel Seths fight vs. an Eversor in the Audio Drama "The Assassination of Gabriel Seth". The Flesh Tearer Chapter Master survives this encounter.
nope. eversors were mass murderers. hence why they can be chemically and mentally altered without destroying them. the eversors are frozen until needed since they are so deadly otherwise.
