Everton's 2013-14 5th Place XI: Where Are They Now? 

Gotta love Leighton Baines story. Released by Everton at 12, having been born nearby, rejected by larger clubs, then finally broken through after Wigan recognized his best position. No hard feelings, he eventually returned to Everton where he played 12 seasons and now serves as a coach. The perseverance to keep trying despite multiple rejections as a youth player, finally achieving success, and ultimately getting to spend the bulk of his lengthy playing career at the club of his childhood dreams. Other players have more caps and more silverware, but few will have realized their dreams so completely after facing so much rejection.

What a squad!!!!! Maybe I'm nieve and most season Premier League teams have similar quality and interesting players with respect to their playing careers or post playing careers, but man its like all these guys are subtbly amazing peeps. Obviously Romelu, Bains, Stones are mega stars, but so many important players at some level such as Jags, Fellani, Pienaar, Sylvain Distain, Tim Howard who's arguably the best U.S. keeper, many, many other players and Roberto Martinez as Manager. Interesting video.

Hey Alfie, I’m from Memphis, the home of Memphis 901 FC. Tim Howard is really just the sporting director at the club. He signed in 2020 really just as a publicity stunt to get more people to attend the games. He was never meant to make more than 1 appearance. They sold bobble heads and t shirts with his likeness and it all happened right before COVID so he was never going to come back post- pandemic

Everton is pretty dangerous team actually... their can easily challenged for a silverware every season but I don't know what happen...infact all the player their recruit in recent season was pretty decent players but STILL can't win any silverware or reach any final...their should target to finish 6th this season and tried UECL
