They are in the process of standardizing their graphics. Most stations have adopted the weather graphics by now, while WLS and KTRK have adopted the entire new graphics package. KFSN has partially implemented it, while WABC is rumored to be next in line.
Recently, ABC had launched the new ABC Owned Television Stations graphics across 8 ABC O&O stations on June 13, 2023 starting with WLS-TV in Chicago. This new graphics was followed by KTRK-TV in Houston on September 23, 2023, KFSN-TV in Fresno on December 4, 2023, WTVD in Raleigh/Durham on December 12, 2023, WABC-TV in New York on January 13, 2024, KGO-TV in San Francisco on February 1, 2024 and WPVI-TV in Philadelphia on March 12, 2024. There is still one more remaining.
WPVI knows what it's viewers want. The infamous November 1996 debacle (they turned it into an orchestral epic) is what forced them to bring back the music and to keep the 70s montage look. They know this rule: IF IT AIN'T BROKE... DON'T FIX IT!
WCCO has recently updated their graphics & news theme. Here's the link to the new WCCO opening. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ASeXCwinF98.html
@@gavinproduction7433Because the urban landscape around Miami extends far outside the cities boundaries into Miami Beach and more. It’s a more populous media market. The urban landscapes in Raleigh/Durham don’t extend outside the cities boundaries. Raleigh, and especially Durham, have some suburban landscapes in them. Also, the Miami media market is mostly suburban or urban, while the Raleigh/Durham media market includes many rural areas.
@@spclanghorne4494 i feel like it's that way in NC and the southeast, when I was Atlanta I had family who lived an hour south it felt like rural why is Atlanta larger?
I couldn’t find opening videos for most of the FOX O&O’s. RU-vid’s algorithm has really messed it up, and only shows videos published by that particular FOX stations channel.
