Every All Flesh Must Be Eaten Book (1999-2013) 

I wanted to add wha some friends did with this game. They made characters after some very famous TV characters to fight zombies in this game. These characters were: Annibal Smith, Templeton Peck, B. A. Barracus and Murdock, yes...guys, the A-Team in a last contract to erase zombies from the U.S.! (I just though it would be funny to share this).

Unironically I love the mix of comedy and horror with these expansions. Very neat!

I own virtually every one of these books (I think I'm missing 2 or 3, including the free adventure), but have never ran or played in a single game! I did run a short Buffy/Angel campaign using stuff from AFMBE though. Good reading, anyway, especially the short story collections, which are my favourite horror fiction!

Glad to see George Vasilakos's RPG getting some love.

I really enjoyed the one time I got to play All Flesh Must Be Eaten. The system was a bit crunchier than I tend to like, but it worked. I remember at the time, the Resident Evil games were pretty popular, and it would have been a pretty obvious system to use for that. Oddly, a couple years later, I found myself binging the original Planet of the Apes films, and thinking, "boy, I'd love a Planet of the Apes RPG. But what system would be good?" After some thought, I decided translating it to All Flesh Must Be Eaten would be a great idea. A few weeks later, I was at my bookstore job, looking for RPG books to order into the store, when I came across Terra Primate. Apparently, someone had already had the idea and already produced a book for it.

Just to provide some background on the increasing gaps in AFMBE's release schedule, a lot of that has to do with Fox pulling the plug on the Buffy and Angel licenses. With that money gone, a bunch of stuff that was in the works got shelved or delayed, including books for CJ Carella's WitchCraft and the already delayed Beyond Human RPG book, which was going to consolidate a bunch of Classic Unisystem stuff into one volume. Eden Studios hasn't really recovered from than even with Fox coming back and giving them permission to publish Buffy and Angel PDFs through DriveThruRPG.

you know i will say that while internet speed was getting better by the day back in 2000, alot of people had barely made the move from dial up to greener pastures. it just wasn't as widespread and you saw a lot of rpg supplements with similar appendixes. Ive even noticed modern rpg releases trying to mimic this with story suggestions chapters. The red box special of paranoia gave a movie list for dystopian ideas im sure.

Lordi still had time to honor the death of All Flesh Must Be Eaten by releasing the single "Zombimbo" (just kiddin')

Zombie pirates sounds like the most 2006 thing ever. Only adding ninjas would make it more.

Great video! And for the completists, horror fans, and GMs looking for game inspiration, there were three short story anthologies: The Book of All Flesh, The Book of More Flesh, and The Book of Final Flesh.

The 2010s products should have been the launch of a second edition of the game. After a long hiatus that would have been the perfect time to make a splash with a fresh take on the game.

I find it amusing that _The Waking Dead_ (the adventure) ripped off the intro of _The Walking Dead_ (the TV show) but in turn that show ripped off _28 Days Later_'s intro. Two layers of plagiarism in, does it become a cliche instead?
