And don't forget the "if the villain is cured of the disease and becomes a good guy, he is not that strong anymore". Lmao Edit:- I haven't used this e-mail account for like a year straight and i am shocked by the amount of likes and comments by post has been getting. Thank you so much everyone. I appreciate it.
@@lucabertani225 nah he really means the part where the villain becomes good they’re always weaker than they were before it’s like the evil and rage makes them stronger and being nicer makes you weaker
@@bloatlord2196 still why the hell madara was that OP. Even in the dragon ball universe he could be classified as being stronger than universe 6 saiyans.
This screams Itachi and Madara Uchiha. "Crap our guys are too strong! What do we do?" "Outside forces kill them. Like a disease or third party opponent who isn't stronger but happens to have the one thing that can kill them!"
no, the joke is that it's a common anime trope to kill off stupid OP characters across pretty much all genre of anime by way of an unexplained, incurable mystery disease that is apparently so rare that it only ever affects a few characters in that world, mostly the ridiculously OP ones. Itachi, for example. just off the top of my head, but there are a MILLION examples
@@edercheder4199 the first hokage also died from a desease originating from his wood chakra. Madara also ended up dying though in his case it seemed to be old age.
The worst part is you have people that can heal, regrow limbs, breathe fire, see into the future, and move people with vector arrows, but none of them can cure an illness.
I love the idea of a story where the main characters are trying to stop ultra powerful super villains from using their abilities so that they don't kill themselves.
And the dumb thing is, that they're definitely already aware of their worsening condition but REFUSE to seek medical attention or the doctors couldn't do anything so the main character HAS to take their place
@@Dingg00se exactly! That’s where we find out he was never always bad and was forced to do bad things to save his family… and the new overpowered enemy is the one that forced him to be evil… yall know how these stories go!
And you find out why he was dying because the power he was using happened to be too much for his body to handle... but the MC is always able to somehow handles it 🤣🤣🤣
How to write your run of the mill shonen main villain: -introduce him in a really cool way -hype him up to have all these cool powers and abilities -make him even stronger -make him so strong you write yourself into a corner -kill him off with a surprise attack or a common cold -profit
“He’s injecting something into himself! It must be some nefarious plan to raise his power!” “Sorry about that. I forgot my insulin after that French Toast buffet this morning.”
go to schol becase teecher says go to schol? am i circus animel or what? i make yt videes becase thats my dreem. liv my dreem is what i do. thats what i do. hopefooly the videes are good for you deer da
Same thing that happened to Itachi Itachi was so strong that they had to nerf him with blindness, terminal illness, With A COLD WHILE AFTER capturing a Tailed beast with Kisame , Before his fight with Sasuke.
After this, he goes “No one’s ever shown compassion like this to me before, yet you… my enemy showed me mercy…” He joins the team, and gets stomped out by the next arc’s villain
Lol this is so true. Another example I can think of is when a side character or minor villain finds some mcguffin. Usually it's a single card/relic/technique whose sole purpose is to counter the op character.
Hxh Spoiler alert: Welp, Watch hxh as the villains of chimera like poor pitou just doing her job of saving an innocent girl get killed brutally, both her and the innocent girl btw lmao- by "heroes" well protagonists, we all know hunters ain't no heroes
This video has a low budget, I'm sure stuff like Hood Avatar and Anime House have much bigger budgets. I'm guessing each of those cosplay outfits run into the hundreds and the FX are probably contracted out to a third party. Good chance a lot of the editing is done in house which I'm sure saves quite a bit.
I will never get tired of all of RDC skits. They’re all so funny. I can kick back, relax and unwind for a while. Thanks always RDC, love every last one of y’all.
So basically after being resurrected, Mark's character hasn't absorbed that one character or item he's been searching for and is why his body is still suffering from a weakness which means what we see in the video is just a hint of his true power
to be fair his entire character arc was basicly what it means to become human, what humanity is and can be... besides, he literally survived a massive nuclear explosion in point blank
@@anima94 fr tho, the whole "monstrosity turned human" type of character arcs is rarely done well... every time i rewatch HxH(kinda waiting for new chapters to be written eventually) i find that my reactions to the chimera ant arc and SPECIFFICALLY scenes relating to meruem remain the same
That one tho at least had a decent explanation. With others it's always like "overload of power" or something that ends up being bypassed by the protag later on
Thanks for the subtitles... English is my second language so it's difficult to sometimes understand, but totally in love with your videos. Since the subtitles are included now, it's easier to understand and I find it so much more funnier. Thanks again guys! You are doing a great job❤️
The best way to do that sort of thing is have another villain come in and end the fight by using an ability that the main character can counter but the villain cannot, such as a power nerf.
It makes sense though. When the villain is too broken, he has to have some kind of drawback to make him basically defeat himself. Then the MC finishes him off after he is already weak. Classic storyline.
It made me laugh when he said that because i remembered Itachi, i mean the one time this is flipped is with Whitebeard, he happened to be sick in the war so he didn’t just effortlessly get Ace, back, and wreck the Admirals, with his Haki.
@@hido... Definitely, but it’s kind of convenient it didn’t happen when Ace, was younger, but i guess it only happened because the world government didn’t wanna go after Whitebeard even if Aces, son could have been a really big threat even they knew better plus a Yonko, errr one piece has really good writing sometimes bad, but usually amazing.
Villain: "WHY? Why am I dying? " Hero: "Well ya see, three episodes ago when you fought that other guy he knew exactly how you were going to absorb his flesh so he injected himself with foxglove and just in case you happened to use your anti-foxglove regeneration he spiked himself with anti-regen potion-"
If the villain doesn't die, then this was the moment he learned the error of his ways and changed to end up a part of the group of friends the protagonist has now. Lol 😂
Or he becomes comic relief and everyone is like oh it’s you ….who invited you here(punches him and watch him comically fly into the horizon only to show up 10 seconds before the episode ends hanging by his under wear on a tree branch looking dizzy )
That's just bad writing. They wrote themselves into a corner and couldn't think of a realistic way to take him down, so they went with one of the lesser stupid options to fix it.
@@ShdwKnife That's why I said lesser stupid. Because they could have brought back a character he just wiped the floor with to do it. It's dumb on all accounts, but it could have been worse.
No completely different. ITACHI had tuberculosis stopping his reign whilst Madara had plot itself sealed his fate. Fked him harder than Talk no Jutsu ever could
I liked the way this was done with meruem because it was the radiation from netero's bomb that killed him instead of a random ass sickness like with others
Yeah Also in One Piece Enel is like super OP with his abilities and Haki and he is introduced in the third arc. Being a lighting user and omnipresent, he was literally unbeatable but Luffy was his natural enemy and being simple minded the complexity between them was handled in one of the most interesting ways.
@@fallzero7304 feel like its dumb luffy is his natural enemy yes rubber doesnt conduct electricity but that just means lightning has a lower chance of hitting it even enel just blast luffy luffy should just completely melt lol
Not only was this hilarious but it’s facts about a lot of anime. When a villain character is too OP the writers have to find a way to try destroy them. A classic example is what Masashi Kishimoto said in an interview about Madara’s character.
"Meteor summon, Cinco" I thought that was the name of the meteor until I rewatched and heard him say "I can summon 5 meters right now" Now I'm confused why he switched to spanish
Manga/Anime surprisingly loves using other languages for names or references. I mean, Attack on Titan has Jaeger and some others, Jojo is full of English band names, and in Fairy Tail, the Oracion Seis is Spanish for six prayers.
makes total sense!!..he couldn’t find a cure after being poisoned which turned him into a villain,he went into a hysteric search looking for the cure and lost all ethics and morals
Street fighter did this to Gen. He taught Gouken nothingness technique. Survived Akumas grab and was stronger than most of the best fighters in his prime. The Gen we see in the games is a weakened version dying of cancer 😆 🤣 😂 they literally use this same tactic but let you know prior to your playing with him he was a beast. Lol
And look how they did you my guy and now your just a spirit thats using the force to watch youtube and type comments lol i thought you was in there till you got blasted off like team rocket lol
@@incognito5416 From what I remember gildarts destroy the city just by walking through it, by accident, drunk. He's not the strongest person in fairy tail (not the guild itself) but he's up there
This is the beginning of the redemption storyline. And also the moment where the badass OP character everyone likes suddenly becomes as weak as a twig compared to the next villain.
Its literally the old "Worf Had a Cold " trope! I love it! Dont forget that even though villain will flat out make it clear that is soon as he is better he will destroy the world, the heroes will help him recuperate anyway including using rare powers, tech, or magical items they didnt use on the villains victims. Bonus Points: While he is resting up he will steal the hero or side character's girlfriend even though he tried to kill her and all her friends in the past and is continually threatening to do so.
"Take me somewhere" 🤣🤣 the absolute shock, fear, acceptance and confusion all at once. Death was at death's door like "wtf this is my house but the key don't work"
