In today's video, I review every single artifact set in RSL. I'll let you know what sets are strong, and what pieces you should keep or sell in the early, mid, and late game. ColredPLAYS Discord Link: / discord

@ordinarystrawstraw555 Yeah, set reviews like don't make for particularly sexy videos, so CC's don't make that many of them. I'm not sure I'll make another one for awhile myself. But I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the comment.
I appreciate this video. There's some cc who have op set's, and state ftp early game, and I'm like yo wtf. I'm on 24/7 and still lacking those damn stats on those sets. Thanks a lot, now I know the long game process.
@StLouis83 Gear, like so many other things in RAID, changes value depending on the status of your account. I hope this video gives some insight into how valuable different sets can be at different times. Thanks for the comment!
@dividendapacolypse6060 That's a great deal of faith you're putting in a video title, Div. I hope I lived up to your expectations! Thanks for the comment and the sub!
You made this for me?! Edit: clearly. I'm still trying to picture what an excellent or perfect piece looks like. I might be overthinking that part tho.
@@ColredPlaysRSL I was really wondering because I took some advice from the gear cleanse video you made before but then was like "are single rolls into a thing a good piece? what about double rolls? should i be looking for those?" like it's hard to know - for example - if getting double DEF% rolls on Regeneration or RES on a righteous set is in fact a good roll or just okay, ya know?
@synxiec In general, you want substats that either match the stats in the set or substats that complement the role of the champion you're equipping. So Crit. Rate and Crit. DMG on your damage dealers, ACC on your debuffers, RES on your cleansers, and SPD on EVERYONE. HP% and DEF% are generally good for most champions, other than those on a go-first arena team, and especially good for tanks, healers, and revivers. A single roll in a substat is generally necessary for a piece to be good. A double roll is better. A triple roll goes on your most important champs. And a quad roll on the right substat is god-tier forever. Hope that helps!
@@ColredPlaysRSL It does! Iirc, some of the sets are "hybrid" in that any champion could benefit if the stats are there (perception, accuracy, speed, etc)
I couldn't make it through scarab without destroy on an armiger. The boss would get real close to death and then just wipe everyone out after a super long run. My champs with destroy capability just couldn't pump enough damage. Daze shouldn't be underestimated. It's got a higher % than stun, and can really help manualing some tough waves. I had my soulbond built on Daze for a long time because of this. That said, she's in stun now, because I don't have the patience to keep manualling stuff. For much of the game, broken sets are an option - so perfect pieces are almost always worthwhile. I guess there comes a time when you have so many perfect pieces that keeping sets you'll never use isn't worth it, but I ain't there yet.
@calandale The single best use of a destroy set is in Scarab, absolutely. Outside of that one fight, the set is almost completely useless. Likewise, Daze can be useful is niche cases, but there's usually a better option - like the stun set you graduated to on your Souldbond Bowyer. Good call, btw. She's a great champ. Finally, I think even perfect pieces in broken sets are over-valued by the community, mostly because CC's have been pushing the idea of "stats over sets" for a long time. Not that broken sets can't be useful, but the reality is far more complicated, and interesting enough that I intend to do a video on it soon. Anyway, thanks for the comment!
I think tools like HH's artifact extractor make it clear when broken sets are valuable. I doubt I'd ever 'fall into' such a set by looking manually. I really hate when one comes up, and try my darnedest to try and squeeze some kind of additional bonus 'in set' (it feels like such a waste otherwise) - but I've gotten results that more or less require I go with broken sets, especially for speed tunes.
@calandale I think the limited storage space for artifacts affects the decision to save or sell pieces significantly. I can't afford to hold onto pieces in sub-optimal sets. A 6-star weapon with crit. rate, crit. dmg, speed, and atk % may look awesome on paper, but when it's in the resistance set, it's just not worth the vault space most of the time. If we had more storage, I'd consider holding on to more of those pieces.
@jyotiprakashnanda5653 Ah, jyoti, we'll miss you! But you should do what you need to do. If stepping away from the game is a good idea, then I hope it turns out well for you. Don't hesitate to say hello from time to time! Peace, my friend! ✌️
Im thinking of farming the new affinitybreaker a bit at least for one set, specially for Alure for Scarab boss in the first rotation where it is force affinity.
@user-sc6gt9qy6d Good call. You know what? I don't have any materials, so they don't show up in the forge. Then I didn't use the "equipped" option in my fitting room to find my pieces. I only realized I forgot those sets the next day. Sorry for the miss. I'll make sure to get them next time.
@brianward3819 Me? Honestly, I don't know. I've never been coached by any of the CC's out there. I know several have a good reputation, so it shouldn't be hard to find one. My own coaching services should be up and running soon (although I've been saying that for 2 weeks now). So if you're interested, come join the discord and let me know. I actually love coaching, so I can't wait to get started!
Curing I used for Oella as 18% (36/54) instead of 15 (30/45) our of passive with restoration of max health makes a difference... Optimiser doesn't show me any teams that use her on Clan Boss and I don't know why - it suggest I 6 star Melga Steelgirdle
@Wolcik3000 There are a few champions for whom the curing set can make sense. Sometimes we may use it simply because we have more good curing set pieces than we have in other sets. However, I still generally prefer speed for my healers when I can get it. Thanks for the comment!
@@ColredPlaysRSL Well, she is still over my top 2 in terms of speed somehow and I only had 5 star curing from the Brutal stages. FireKnight is the hardest to properly grind because of that pesky shield that require multi attack.
@delorian511 Well, it depends on the champion. For most damage dealers, you would probably move into harder hitting sets like Crit. Damage, Savage, and Cruel. At that point, without the lifesteal set, any healing you need would have to then come from other sources.
@limbonic78 In order to get a set bonus, you must have the correct number of pieces, yes. You can get multiple bonuses though. So if you have 6 pieces from the speed set, you would get the bonus 3 times. Not sure what you're asking about sets being highlighted though, sorry.
@@ColredPlaysRSL i mean this icons under "Set info" but thanks, you gave me a answer on my question that was about... if gear is set to 3 pieces of Lifesteal(4 set) and 3 pieces of Regeneration(4 set) i won't get any bonuses, Heals by 30% of damage dealt(Lifesteal) and 15% every turn(Regeneration), i only get bonuses from main stats and substuts, right?
@limbonic78 Yes, you always get the value of the main stat and substats on every piece of gear. The set bonuses are only applied if you fulfill the numerical requirement. So 3 lifesteal pieces and 3 regeneration pieces would result in no set bonuses.
@ElmerTob-cr9lc Righteous is righteous, but I don't prefer anything over speed gear. When even 1 speed can make the difference, every drop counts. That being said, if you don't need every drop of speed on a champ, the extra resist can be very useful for sure! Thanks for the comment!
